Overlooking the championship golf course, this hotel has an award-winning restaurant, free Wi-Fi and free parking. The charming villages of Tintagel and Port Isaac are 15 minutes’ drive away. In the 13th century, Bowood Park was part of the Black Prince’s deer park. It is still set amid 230 acres of picturesque hills and woodland. The hotel has modern décor and luxurious fittings throughout. Each room has an en suite bathroom, a TV, and facilities for making tea and coffee. Guests can dine in the hotel’s restaurant, which offers British and international dishes, including local seafood. Cornish cream teas and a Sunday carvery are also available. The Bowood Park Golf Club has a course which meets USGA standards and is open all year round. Golf clubs and buggies are available for hire on site. We enjoyed the whole of our stay, but if I had to choose I would say the staff`s friendless and the breakfast the scrambled egg was delicious. There was nothing we could complain about the hotel was lovely,they do have very thin walls.:)

The staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble. The food is lovely with large portions. The views of the surrounding countryside are spectacular.

We liked the restaurant and choice of food. The bar area is also a delightful place and the bar snacks menu is also excellent. We spent 4 nights at this hotel and enjoyed every moment of it. There were no lifts to the accomodation and therefore heavy suitcases had to be carried up the stairs. This was quite stressfull and no help was given or offered.

Outstanding value. Great room- bathroom more than adequate-, great place, staff not always present but helpful enough. Fantastic breakfast, best sausages in the west country, I think. None. We were worried about finding it late in the evening, but it was almost easy.

We loved everything about this hotel. All the staff were excellent and very friendly, with a very happy atmosphere. Our room was lovely, with views over the golf course, which were beautiful. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced, so we ate in the bar area one night and the restaurant another, both very good. The location is stunning and very close to the coastline if you want to explore the lovely scenery around this area. We can't wait to book again, and hopefully for longer. We highly recommend this place for a quiet relaxing break, it was fab! 10/10

Despite the night of our stay being the night before the official reopening of the hotel, the staff were very helpful and accommodated us well. Although the restaurant wasn't available they were most helpful in directing us and making a booking for us in a lovely nearby restaurant for our special celebration. The chef was very accommodating and made breakfast for just the two of us.

As a mature (non golfing) couple we were pleasantly surprised with the set up at this venue. We would certainly choose it again when seeking accommodation in the Camelford area.

Good service from Staff at all times. Very good value for money Not ideal if you dont happen to like golfers walking around all day, but that is what this hotel is all about. But it does cater for everyone, as we can recommend.

Ideal location-peaceful and with lovely views over the golf course and Cornish landscape and situated between Tintagel and the Eden Project. The staff were friendly.

We just wanted a reasonably priced stay for the znight and we gfot so much more! The room was very large, very clean, very warm if required, the staff were friendly, efficient, courteous, breakfast was superb and all for £65. Wonderful location. This isn't a luxury hotel and some of the decor is a bit tired but I would definitely stay again. Decor a bit tired in parts and tv in room was a bit small but very pleased with both service and value.
