Friendly and professional staff with lovely sense of humour
Poor lighting, no full. Length mirror, whole place needed updating and we felt that it was in a time warp!!!!
we found the Staff were very nice & helpful nothing was to much trouble. the rooms were clean & tidy. the English Breakfast was quick & Hot with plenty to eat. we would certainly stay here again when Next time we are up Here.
Great English Breakfast Friendly staff Traditional grounds
WiFi was unreliable
The breakfast was super!
No ice in the bar, no crisps. No room service available in the evening and the hotel added VAT to our bill although price on booking.com says inclusive of vat. Then tried to bill us 90 pounds to clean tatty worn carpet. Please beware!
Friendly staff Quality of food Ease of check in/check out Late checkout
I like the room size and the cleanliness of the room. It was a good shower .
It would have been nice to have breakfast but it finished at 9:30. Which was too early for a Sunday. We choose to sleep. Only when we checked out we're we told we could have had breakfast in our room.
Great place to stay breakfast is always excellent
Well the free WIfi is fast and free.
In front fo the hotel are roadworks, to get access you must drive additional 3 miles. The food is okay but I would not recommend it.
Warm and friendly welcome. Rooms warm and comfortable. Superb breakfast .Ideal location for popping into London ,with the train station being only minutes away from Hotel.
convenient location close to station and not too far from town centre. quiet at night despite being close to major railway line. great tasty breakfast with some of the best scrambled eggs I have seen for a long time. excellent water pressure in shower, enjoyed having bath and shower attachment. friendly and efficient staff. WIFI worked perfectly in our room without fancy password nonsense or sign-up requirements.
toilet filling up very slowly after flush
Very friendly accommodating staff who worked as a team Decent towels.
Noise of road and railway.force of water in bathroom sinks hit the front and floods onto the floor! Kettle in room which is cheap and nasty which takes ages to boil.
Service Food Wine Restaurant Breakfast
Friendly greeting by staff. Breakfast was good served in nice surroundings. Room and ensuite were of adequate size. Plenty of parking spaces.
Noise of traffic for us, but we live in Norfolk in a more rural area, so would notice it more.
Convenient location 5 mins from 4railway station Comfort, friendly staff and management
WiFi is not very strong
When we got there the booking had not been received from booking.com and all the twin rooms were booked. Staff were friendly and sorted us the family room instead. Beds a bit hard four our liking, very clean and food excellent.
After booking with booking. Com did not have the room we wanted.
Breakfast was fantastic Staff were really friendly Reliable WI-FI Sky Sports available in each room
No blind or curtain in the bathroom No proper bedding for the bed settee
its was an excellent place, not too far from town, and the service was excellent.
The breakfast was fair, my problem was the oil that fried the chips & eggs was stale.
Lovely staff; excellent breakfast; evening meal in the restaurant was delicious; very clean; pretty gardens; plenty of parking.
The hallways smelt a bit musty, but not a problem once in the room; creaky floorboards from the room above.
Without doubt the restaurant was excellent. Service very good, food excellent. Rooms comfortable and warm.
Car park had pot holes full of water, yes it poured. Pathway to rooms, chalet type not very well lit and some steps not easy to see. No meals on a Sunday evening, but an eating place within walking distance. No sub-titles on TV, so if deaf like me a little difficult to enjoy.
The staff are very friendly and they did a lovely breakfast
Very helpful and friendly staff. Conservatory restaurant served top quality food. Room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Five minutes from train station.
Only stayed one night but really can't fault the hotel.
Proximity to station and away from town. Room reasonable size. Not a wide choice of breakfast but well cooked. Loved the warm bathroom floor!
Bathroom 'dated' and 'tired. Needs updating.
Excellent food. Rooms are comfortable and homely.
Staff very helpful and welcoming. Rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast lovely. Very happy with our stay.
Very hot in the bedroom/ bathroom and difficult to leave window open overnight
We were extremely happy with the service we received from the moment we arrived. The room and facilities were beyond our expectations. The quality (and quantity) of the food was excellent. Wonderful setting and only 25 minutes by train from London.
