Boxmoor Lodge Hotel

I liked the way the rooms opened to the outside, not a hotel corridor, and the quietness.

TV sound was not good, beds not very comfortable for a long stay.

The rooms are all in the gardens and its totally relaxed

The accomodation was excellent, and the food and service in the conservatory restaurant was more than satisfactory. Although we did not get the opportunity to use the other facilities, they certainly looked inviting.

Wireless Internet not working in room! Paid extra for Egyption towels but could not see any difference to standard towels, room

The hotel is in a nice residential area close to the main roads and train station. The staff are attentive.

The breakfast time starts too late and finishes to early (08:30 - 09:30)

Breakfast was good and bathroom excellent and bed comfortable.

Room smelt musty as though damp and door stuck on carpet making getting out urgently difficult for the price I would have expected more

The friendliness of the staff and the fact that it was a nice intimate hotel. The food was excellent as was the service.

The only thing which is a small point is that the pillows were too soft. Couldn't really get a good night's sleep.

Cleanliness and Staff excellent. Very conveniently placed for train station and pubs,but not a problem with noise. Excellent for walks along canal or in the countryside. Would deferentially come

We found the staff very helpful and pleasant - we enjoyed an evening drink in the small bar. Breakfast was excellent!

We found the hotel bedroom and bathroom large but furnishings rather old and jaded.....

The service was excellent, staff very helpful. Food was very good. We only stayed 1 night just to break our journey south. We feel we made the right choice.
