Service,location and bening made welcome during our stay. The rooms are of an exceptional standard and well equiped

The location is absolutely stunning. The house has been lovingly redesigned in such a way that all of the bedrooms have breathtaking views over Fairbourne and Barmouth. Fluffy bathrobes, binoculars, torches (for coming back up the unlit lane after dark)!, iPod dock, hair dryer and mini-fridge with fresh milk in the bedroom were all nice touches. The lounge-cum-breakfast room on the top floor has even more amazing views and a telescope as well as an amazing choice of CDs and DVDs. Delicious hot breakfast. Sue (owner) could not have been more friendly, helpful or accommodating. Loved the hot tub!

It pains me to say it, because everything else was perfect, but there was one slight disappointment - the double bed, while comfortable was a little small and positioned too close to the radiator, meaning that we woke in the middle of the night feeling uncomfortably hot. The room was huge and could easily be redesigned to accomodate a king size bed in a more comfortable position.

Very relaxed atmosphere great place to get away and relax in great accomodation with fab-views.

There was a shower attachment on the bath but no shower curtain and not really suitable for a shower.

Very friendly welcome, excellent room with great views and lovely breakfasts served in a room with even better views. All in all a very relaxing and enjoyable long week-end.

Beautiful property, wonderful view and very friendly owners. Also enjoyed the gym.Breakfast was also good.

Road access was very awkward - very steep and narrow and from a concealed entrance.

Beautiful , lovingly restored , luxury boutique b&b. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent views. Nice touches, not normally found in b&b e.g music dock, dvd room, hot tub, gym.

The bed was comfortable, but small. A luxury hotel should have at least a king size. The breakfast coffee was truly dreadful, very weak instant it seemed. The scrambled eggs and croissants were also poor.

Everything about this hotel is perfect.We had the self contained flat which was huge,superbly equipped and had a fantastic view for miles. A wonderful place for a totally relaxing break

The only thing that might put some people off is the lack of a bar and restaurant.We were told that this will be addressed shortly.

I cannot find or think of anything that I did not like about this establishment. All aspects were just perfect for us, the location, the views , the super proprietors Sue and Geoff, the golden labrador even the chickens. It is a very homely place.

Its too far away from where we live!!

As close to prefection as you can get. Sue and Geoff are superb hosts and Katie really makes you feel at home. The room and views were fabulous and we felt very welcome from the moment we arrived until we left. Even Brie ( their golden retriever ) is so friendly. The breakfast was excellent and came piping hot to the table. We would certainly stay there again.

Fairbourne is quite remote with very few shops or anywhere to eat so the only improvement I could suggest is the addition of an evening meal at the hotel.

Hosts Sue and Geoff were extremely welcoming and eager to ensure you have everything you need. The accommodation itself is stunning; decoration and furnishings throughout have been carefully chosen making each room individual. Views across the bay to Bardsley Island are breathtaking and the sunsets equally beautiful. There are lots of nice touches such as fluffy bathrobes and towels, shower gels, soaps, bottled water in the mini fridge and fresh milk. The refreshment tray is stocked with a jar of coffee, plenty of tea bags and loose sugar. None of the usual (and not enough) coffee/sugar/milk sachets here!! Breakfasts were a real treat; there is a good choice and the cooked breakfast was always served hot. You can relax and unwind by simply spending time in the lovely garden if you don't want to drive out. We will definitely go back again as this was the most relaxing mini break we've ever had - superb!!

Just a word of advice - at present the premises are unlicensed but Sue and Geoff are happy for guests to take their own drinks if they wish. Hopefully a license will be granted shortly and I'm sure the website will reflect this once it's been granted.

location was great with excellent views , the hot tub was great and the apartment was amazing , the staff could not be more friendly or helpfull

From the moment we arrived to the miniute we left we were treated like royalty and wanted for nothing. Sue and Geoff are the most charming and lovely people we have ever met. Generous and warm and were always on hand should we need something. The apartment was out of this world and one of the best if not THE BEST we have ever stayed in. The views from the apartment were simply amazing. This is a most wonderful place to stay if its relaxation and pampering is what you are seeking. We will most deffinately be going again. A simply wonderful place and wonderful people. Thank you Sue and Geoff for making our stay so memorable. We look forward greatly to seeing you again soon. All the very best John & Sarah Jane

The lovely relaxing feel from the moment we arrived. The owners were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The views from the rooms were breath taking. Breakfast was very enjoyable, especially being served from the crows nest.

The shower in the room was more aimed at people 5'4 maximum.

Everything! Luxurious. Fabulous views across the bay. Gorgeously fluffy towels and bathrobes. Owners extremely friendly and welcoming. Hot tub was an additional welcome treat. Thoughtful extras like binoculars for the view, books, magazines, games. iPod dock . Fabulous wet-room type shower. Will definitely go again

Location was fantastic great views of estuary, great breakfast, nice comfortable room

The only thing was shower it was difficult not to soak the floor, that was the only thing so would definitely stay again

I has been stay at the hotel with my family , and really I was comfortable ,however Im looking farrowed to make another reservation .

I like the staff their , infact they were extremely friendly and goodness .

Narrow lane to house, just be careful as drive is steep. That's all.

Room was really comfortable and tastefully decorated. View from room and terraced garden absolutely superb. Breakfast served in Crows Nest! Hosts absolutely lovely and very happy to try to organise things for you. WIFI

Lack of an evening meal, considering they are some distance from anywhere serving food. Lack of Bar - no licence - but they are applying!! Shower facility in the twin room for the price was completely inadequate :-( Welsh Slate steep drive (bikers beware!)
