Good food, and service .

Wrong bill on departure, a feeling that it was my fault and I was to blame for being charged for 2 nights meals when I was only there for the 1 night. Staff unhelpful, untrusting. I genuine mistake or someone trying it on?

The room was clean and comfortable, the tea and coffee were refilled every day. Food was good, as a solo traveller I was felt looked after.

Food although good it was a little expensive.

Very friendly and welcoming staff at a venue situated in a beautiful location. The evening meal was very good and the service complimented that. The breakfast service and menu also surpassed my expectations bearing in mind the very reasonable cost of staying.

The views from our bedroom were stunning. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were very friendly. We also had the evening meal which was very good too. Couldn't fault it, only wished we could have stayed longer.

A little bit pricy

The amazing location that the Brackenrigg Inn is situated in. The inn itself has character and charm. The staff are helpful and friendly. The food was very good and well priced.

More heating as found the Brackenrigg Inn to be cold though this may have been down to the weather?

Inexpensive and good value for the area. The inn has a very impressive vista of the lake below. The rooms on the front side overlook the lake, and the back rooms overlook the hills. The rooms are very clean, and everything worked in my room and en suite bathroom. The pub and restaurant are on the lower floor, and the food is good and fairly priced. I found no noise carryover from the pub/restaurant to my room. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was excellent.

The Hotel was in a exelent location overlooking the lakes,comfortable with exelent service, I would recomend this hotel.

Superb location, staff friendly. Great views. We had a very good evening meal there. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.

We had booked a "superior double room" but it was very basic. The bathroom was tiny, and there was nowhere to hang up towels. The first night the room and the bed felt cold.

Excellent location, great staff, nice bar and good value.

No hot water in my room - not a problem for myself but I'm sure not to everyone's taste!

The pub area was cosy and the beds were comfortable. Evening meal was good.

Not family friendly, overcharged with someone els'es meal booked to my room (refunded) and the rattling windows kept us awake.

Location was good. Parking good. Breakfast excellent with a wide variety of choice. Good range of real ales in the bar. Very friendly staff. Excellent evening meals.

Price of evening meals were on the expensive side - maybe include lower priced options. Petty, but were only given 1 loo roll for a 3 day stay - soon sorted by asking at reception for another one.
