The size and amenities of the apartment were a pleasant surprise - great location close to a supermarket, restaurant/pubs and shops right in the middle of a beautiful old town. Lounge room and kitchen a highlight. We had a great stay.
Slightly pricey as we were there during UK half term. Parking is a five minute walk from the apartment, a hassle in inclement weather, but no practical alternative any closer that I could see.
Location, space and facilities were excellent.
Sofas were a bit utilitarian, considering the excellent tv provided we didn't feel like sitting and watching it on the leather seating
The cosy atmosphere of the apartment. The availability of the staffs.
A little difficult to find and no parking nearby. Not really suitable for travelers with luggages.
Excellent flat, convenient location for station (we used it as a base for visiting Bath on the train). Highly recommend The Bear Inn (just up the road) EXCELLENT pies - don't have a starter though :)
Packing up to come home!
We loved the apartment, we spent the Saturday Christmas Shopping in Bath and was lovely to have a short drive back to the apartment and the tranquillity of Bradford on Avon
The apartment was clean and modern. The facilities were fantastic and was attention to detail. It is close to a station and is located in a chic boutique street.
The top floor apartment had breathtaking views in all directions and being located on historical "The Shambles" road gave you a sense of history with the river, the shops, coffee shops, public houses and local swimming pool all within short walking distance.
The only down side was no parking close by with parking available at the train station which was a 5 minutes walk away however, the other disadvantage of being right in the centre of town was the noise of traffic early in the morning however this is to be expected when you stay in such a location and would definitely not stop us from booking again.
A tastefully decorated spacious appartment in a fantastic location
About 10 minutes to the train station, very convinent.
the apartment is very modern with complete facilities for short or med-term stay. the location is excellent and shops are steps away! fantastic and we really enjoyed staying there.
Comfort and convenient Neatly converted apartment
Bit noisy from traffic
Large, bright one bedroom flat with all amenities including washer. The town itself is charming and 15 minutes by train to Bath. Close to pubs, cafes, mini-groceries, fresh veggies and fruit shop in the Shambles, pharmacy... very central. Some traffic noise but we used ear plugs.
Heavy use of scented laundry products and air fresheners around apartment (more than 12!) triggered my asthma. The host did respond quickly and replaced the linens with less scented ones. ALL the linens need to be laundered with scentless products, as the many other linens in the closets and storage areas still outgassed terribly.
We went for this apartment as those in Bath were filled up by the time of booking. It was a positive surprise. The apartment is very spacious and well maintained. The decoration is of good taste and the furniture comfortable. The kitchen is new, clean, and well maintained. There were plenty of cooking utensils, and towels. The apartment is located right in the city center of Bradford. There is a convenient store just across the road, where you can get everything. The tea house across the road, however, serves the best sandwiches I've had so far. It takes about 10 minutes by car to get to Bath. A long stretch is along a narrow and winding country lane, and, as visitors, one can't go too fast. But after one or two drives, it becomes much easier. Parking is outside the train station, a short walk from the apartment. With all luggage unloaded, it wasn't a problem.
Not much. The instruction said to pick up keys at the taxi booth next to the train station. But the keys were not there when I arrived. After a couple of calls and waiting, the owner sent a girl to deliver the keys. Not a big problem. As other reviewers have mentioned, the curtains at the bedrooms are indeed very thin and not large enough to cover windows. We had to put a couple of pillows to shield the light.
Great location, supermarket and more within minutes. Quality of the linen, kitchen, decor, etc was very good. The apartment was very comfortable and spacious.
Wifi connection didn't work No fire escape instructions. We were a bit worried that if there was a fire in the main stairwell or lower flats we might have to jump out of a window to a lower terrace but there was no ladder. Maybe it was in the terms but it wasn't obvious when in the flat. Also roads were very noisy, even late at night, but location is great!
Wonderful "design-appartment" with plenty of quality equipment situated in a very pretty village on the coffe-shop street of that village and near Bath (10 minutes by train). The taxi-drivers where the parking-space is located were super friendly and helpful to a foreigner like me!
The wifi is free but "borrowed" from a restaurant in the ground floor of the building and the signal was too weak for our tablets (for the PC it worked).
In the heart of the city...walk everywhere, great space and super comfortable.
WIFI was fair. Not a big concern.
Very spacious apartment in the heart of the village with lots of natural light and a lovely outlook. Also nice to have the option of a bath after a long day of sightseeing. Close to great restaurants, walking trails and the train station.
Owner was very helpful and well organized. Apartment was warm, spacious and comfortable and tastefully decorated. It was located close to a small supermarket, restaurants, bank etc and only about 15 minutes from Bath by car. I would definitely recommend this apartment.
There was nothing we could complain about.
Perfect size for a family with 2 small children. Spacious, clean and very warming. Perfect location in brad for upon avon with vey quick access to bath by train and other amenities
Difficult to connect to the wifi. Forgot the shampoo and wasn't provided:-)
could not get the wifi to work
Lovely location and the apartment was well equipped, spacious and comfortable. Close to local amenities such as convenience store, station and restaurants. A great base for visiting Bath and surrounding areas.
To be honest.... no faults at all!
Lovely apartment. Comfortable, spacious and clean. Right in the heart of Bradford on Avon so great for eating out. Very easy to get to Bath by train also.
Would be great to have some black out curtains in the bedrooms as the curtains were rather thin material.
The location was perfect with views in three directions over Bradford on Avon. The rooms were very spacious with beautiful furnishings and light and airy layout. There wasn't a single factor that I thought I would have wanted to change. Beautiful.
Nothing! The parking is a five minute walk but so what when you're staying in the centre if a medieval town? Once you' ve unloaded the car you're right in the thick of things and overlooking The Shambles: so wonderfully British!
