Helpful and friendly owner. Good location. Good breakfast
Very comfortable room, good breakfast, friendly staff, supplied us with lots of local information, would highly recommend this bed and breakfast.
The host is a smoker, so the building has a faint odour of smoke inside. It became more intense at night when the windows were closed. There was a sign saying smoking was prohibited in the dining area but the smell lingered. It was very unpleasant.
I loved that we had our own apartment/flat. It wasn't very big but we didn't mind that. It was nice to have a kitchen to use. The futon and queen bed met our needs. And it was nice to have a tv to kick back and relax at the end of the day.
The only things I would say could have been better were the comfort of the bed and the use of the shower. The shower was a little difficult to use because it would go back and forth from really cold and then hot.
Great breakfast , friendly lady made us feel very welcome
Bed not changed. Shower not clean.
Had a lovely time, comfortable clean rooms with wifi available. Breakfast was excellent plenty of variety.
The staff were very friendly and helpful, although the room and the decor was basic the place was very clean and good value for money. Overall we were very happy with our stay.
bad service, cigarette smell in the house
Alan the proprietor had a family emergency and when we arrived he had written a note to me saying where the key was and to please come in and told us which room we had been assigned. We were ther for over an hour and a half before he returned and if he had not done this responsible act we would have been waiting and waiting. I really appreciate that in his time of emergency he had the forethought to have a key with directions ready for our arrival. I will always be grateful for this act. the room was small but clean and very comfortable with a bathroom.
The owners are friendly and helpful. I had a problem connecting to the Wi-Fi at first but they helped to sort this out straight away. The two dogs brighten everyone's day. They offer a varied spread for breakfast, you can have something cooked or stick with the standard cereal, fruit, etc. The hot breakfast I had was lovely and there was plenty of it.
The hosts were lovely and gave great recommendations for where to eat...and they make a delicious breakfast! Room was nicely decorated, clean, and had an enormous bathroom with a spa tub. Great value...wish we could have stayed longer.
It wasn't really within walking distance to anything but the supermarket across the street.
Breakfast , TV in room , friendly owner
Never put heating on the whole stay it was freezing, bad smell like old peoples home , bathroom not clean , very poor WiFi , worked short time we went out when came back WiFi switched off
My family and I booked in to stay at this b and b. The rooms were very well furnished. The hosts very accommodating. Nothing is too much. Gave us good local advice on activities for the family. Breakfast was fantastic. There was plenty off street parking. Had a thoroughly enjoyable stay. Look forward to visiting again.
Free parking and free Wi-Fi. Excellent owner very helpful and friendly Nice and clean
My wife and I liked the location of this B & B. On arrival we were greeted by Alan who greeted us with a welcome coffee and took the time to advise us about the area, things to do and see etc. our room was very clean comfortable, and spacious. Breakfast the following morning was excellent and had a varied selection to suit anybody and was served in a very pleasant manner in comfortable surroundings. Alan went out of his way the previous evening to take us in his own vehicle in to town as we were finding it hard to get a taxi. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.
We could not write any negative points on our stay here. The only thing we didn't like was leaving.
car park - all places in the centre do not have car parks
i was asked to pay upfront for my stay breakfast was served late - from 8.30
Love Portrush and love this place. Have stayed several times and like the laid back feel of it. Free wifi great veggie breakfast My kids want to move here!
We were very pleased with the location and private parking facilities.
The shower cubicle was in need of a good cleaning my wife would not use it on our stay also we were not asked how our nights sleep was in the morning or matter of fact we were not really greeted in the morning at all.
The place is clean and cosy, just a stroll from the town centre. The room was small but clean, with plenty of towels. Huge and delicious breakfast!
The beds were uncomfortable...the place itself had everything we expected ..although the wifi was non existant
Fairly close to town. Excellent breakfast.
Looked a bit run down from outside.
The lady who did the cooking was lovely. Nice breakfast
Shower was dirty, the shampoo and conditioner from previous guests still there. Wifi was unreliable.
Breakfast was good
Lack of personal attention, the owner was out for the evening so when we returned we were very much latch door kids.
Clean linen, comfortable bed, good breakfast
Dusty floors, dirty toilet, grounds very untidy & messy
