Braemount House B&B  

The little things made the stay delightful, music at breakfast, nice smelling soap, scones and tea when we arrived. Lovely stay, great house, lovely hostess, beautiful breakfast.

I recommended this to friends.

A really nice welcome (homemade cake and tea). Lovely people and a very nice house. The breakfast was excellent.

Only stayed for one night however the room was beautiful and so comfortable. Best nights sleep for a while ! The owners were very friendly and inviting . The tea and home made brownies on arrival was a nice touch . Fantastic breakfast choices . Overall a real high standard would recommend !

Very friendly and helpful, great service. Beautiful house, very private. I would Definately stay again. The food was amazing including the fresh coffee and home made cakes.

It would have been better if we didn't have to be out of the room for 10.30am, especially being £60 per night. I would still return :)

The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was fantastic, cleaned to a high standard each day and the extra special touch of breakfast served in our bedroom on the first morning was lovely.

The owner will change the name of the B&B from Braemount House to Rum Doodle B&B. The room is small but cozy . The owner served us delicious home-made cakes and a pot of tea when we arrived there. Breakfast is perfect! Very tasty, lovely, and healthy ! The owner gave us a useful wonderful advice to walk around the Hill Top area. Thank you!

10/10, from the minute we arrived we were welcomed like old friends. We arrived just after 5, so we were given a choice of a glass of wine or tea and fresh baked brownies, after our long car journey, this was just what we needed. We stayed in one of the 4 poster bedrooms which was spacious and had nice views. All the information in the room about the town was really good and Gregor was only to happy to tell us anything we needed to know. The breakfast the next morning was exceptional, it was 5* and above standard, (i'm a chef who's worked in 5* and above establishments). The breakfast room was stylish and relaxing and the lady running breakfast was a world of knowledge about the local area, giving us good advice to go on the boat cruise in Bowness. I would reccommend this b&b highly.

Cold Room, There was tea and coffee but it was calamine/earl grey/perculated coffee nothing like pg Tips Tea bags or Nescafe Coffee. After a long walk you just want the usual. No shower, just a great big bath and we couldnt use it as there wasnt enough hot water, so whats the point. It would have been nice to have a honesty fridge downstairs just in case you fancied a bottle of beer or coke, or something. TV was in a corner which was in an area where you couldnt see it so it would be nice up on the wall where everyone could see it. Breakfast was very nice but no Hienz Tom sauce or Brown didnt like the brown and red relish they provided. stick to everything what everyone likes and you cannot go wrong.

The location was excellent and didn't need to use our car for four days as easy walk to both Bowness and Windermere. B&B was lovely and quiet and personal. The bed was very comfortable.

There was nothing we didn't like and we would stay there again. It is a lovely small and private house which really suited us. If someone is looking for large rooms/large hotel then look elsewhere but we really liked it.

I had already read reviews so I had a feeling it would be a great place to stay. We were not disappointed, lovely staff, room and breakfast. The location is also good as it is up a quiet street. The staff are the right side of attentive, there if you need them but leave you to relax!!!!
