Excellent location. Very friendly staff, Clean and tidy rooms and overall decor was very nice. Excellent relaxed atmosphere. Breakfast was superb.

Double room was a little smaller than anticipated. Clean tidy and cosy but a little small.

The owners are very welcoming and very friendly. We arrived in the night (more than 1 hour later than we promised) but that did not adversely affect the welcome we received. Our luggage was carried into our room and we were offered a taste of wine. The Braemount House b&b is situated in a very good and quiet area. It is about 10 minutes walk to Bowness where Lake Windermere is located. There is free parking onsite. The traditional breakfast is excellent. The room is clean and well furnished. The four poster bed is comfortable. There is a very useful and helpful information folder in the room.

The bath is a bit small. The ceiling of the bathroom would look nicer with a touch of some paint.

Nice friendly relaxed atmosphere, quietness ( we heard no other guests although they were there). Comfortable beds and very friendly staff who met you on arrival with coffee & cake. Breakfast again was good unhurried and relaxed . Wonderful

Without a doubt this was the best B&B I have ever stayed at. The owners were exceptional. On arrival we were greeted with genuine warmth, the owner had baked an amazing cake which we were welcomed with. The rooms were warm, clean and well equipped. It was lovely and quiet and had no difficulty sleeping. There was coffee and tea making facilities in the room which even included our own caffetiere and quality coffee and tea with home made biscuits! The breakfast was delicious and I have never seen such wonderful breakfast options on offer in a B&B before. I would highly recommend this B&B to anyone planning a visit to the Lake District.

Hospitaly is the main thing about Braemount. Emma, one of the owners, was amazing and really helpfull all the time we were there. We had a great and warm welcome, which is something I look for while staying in a hotel/B&B. Plus the room was lovely - thou small (we got the small double) -, as well as everything about Braemount. And breakfast was really great too. The pancakes were the best I've ever had! It's a amazing option for the Lakes and it's only a 10 minutes walk from Lake Windermere.

The hosts, Gregor and Emma, were very accommodating despite us arriving at such a late hour. The decor was charming and very comfortable. To top it off, the traditional breakfast was a real treat - great preparation for a day walking in the fells!!

The Braemount Guest House is a wonderful place to stay for a long weekend. It is in a central location for sight seeing and walking. The staff are friendly, the food is delicious and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Although there is a check in and out time the staff were more than willing to change this to suit you as the customer.Overall this is an ideal place to stay and the price is not too much.
