It was a very pretty house and the owners were very helpful. The room was tiny and the bed was not comfortable. |

The location was excellant and we received a warm welcome from the owners - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was also excellant and we will certainly be recommending The Braemount to friends and family. |

Peace and quiet, comfortable room, corner bath in bedroom was a quirky treat, friendly owner always willing to help. No dvd player in bedroom although stated that there was, video player instead. Breakfast wasn't the best but plenty of selection. |

The location was handy to windemere and bowness, the room was tastefully done. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast was poor quality, cheap beans etc and the checkout was too early for a weekend break. The bath in the room was strange and being in the eaves was difficult for tall people to use. |

The hotel was comfortable and breakfast was very good. The hotel is in an ideal position between Bowness on Windermere and Windermere which we found was within walking distance for us. It was ideal to go back to after a long day out walking. |

I stayed only one night.I was satisfied with it although I was forced to arrive right on time otherwise there would be no one to open the door. That added to hassel driving in the narrow road getting there since we were stuck behind a bus! I would prefer to have extra blanket at room. But that night there was no one to ask for it since the hosts were going out |

The accessibility of the guest house to the two towns, as in walking distance. The beautiful views and location of the house. Breakfast was super tasty and they didn't scrimp on portions. |

The hotel is ideally situated between Windermere and Bowness-on-Windermere, with a 5 minute walk to either. Great value for money and well worth a visit. Will definitely use the hotel again. |
