The room was very cosy, breakfast and the personal attention was great. The breakfast room with the view is outstanding. The shower could use some deep cleaning.

Location just off M1. Breakfast was delicious. Home made muesli included! Dining room looking out into the garden. Even though it was May, the central heating was on. I appreciated that. Quiet and cosy. Could do with a larger sign. Had to walk through village to find it. Don't like sleeping on ground floor. Thought the price was quite high for B&B

The guest house is extremely good value for money. The owner is really friendly and has decorated the rooms to a very high standard. There is a lovely pub next door for an evening meal. Breakfast was of a really high standard and take in a conservatory overlooking fields. Highly recommended for any type of traveller.

Excellent comfortable room. Best breakfast egg - laid that day by the hens living at Risley Guest House. Certainly will be added to my list of "must stay" if travelling anywhere nearby. Thank you

We found the Risley Guest House everything that was promised on the website. The cottage was private, beautifully furnished, sparkling clean, and cosy, with a lovely bathroom. The guest house owner was delightful and welcoming, and privided a lovely breakfast the following morning in her conservatory, which overlooked a lovely garden and a field filled with new born lambs. Perfect !! We will be back !!

nice having your own access - each room has its own front door and is like a mini cottage, with a parking space in front of each one. Lots of nice countryside walks not far away, really nice pub just down the road for dinner. it was a bit chilly at night - but you do get lots of blankets!
