Very handy for motorway access. Also lovely pub next door with good value meals

The room was cold on arrival

our stay at the risley cottage was excellent,peaceful,and everything we needed was available,very clean and modern.

The Landlady was friendly and approachable The Guest House is located next door to a pub with an extensive menu and good food

The room was very cosy, breakfast and the personal attention was great. The breakfast room with the view is outstanding.

The shower could use some deep cleaning.

Location just off M1. Breakfast was delicious. Home made muesli included! Dining room looking out into the garden. Even though it was May, the central heating was on. I appreciated that. Quiet and cosy.

Could do with a larger sign. Had to walk through village to find it. Don't like sleeping on ground floor. Thought the price was quite high for B&B

Warm welcome, pleasant, comfortable room with lovely little touches, such as the sweets and biscuits. Very friendly- home from home. Superb breakfast and reasonably priced. Thankyou - we will be back.

Had a very comfortable relaxing stay. Sarah was very helpful and friendly, the accommodation was excellent all round especially the comfortable bed, pillows like clouds best night sleep ever. Local restaurant/bar 100yrds from accommodation with fab food and very friendly staff

The guest house is extremely good value for money. The owner is really friendly and has decorated the rooms to a very high standard. There is a lovely pub next door for an evening meal. Breakfast was of a really high standard and take in a conservatory overlooking fields. Highly recommended for any type of traveller.

The room had a lovely big bed and nice views over the garden and fields, the room was clean and it was nice and quiet. The owner was lovely and friendly and we will definately stay again.

Adequate facilities for a short stay with friendly host

We found the Risley Guest House everything that was promised on the website. The cottage was private, beautifully furnished, sparkling clean, and cosy, with a lovely bathroom. The guest house owner was delightful and welcoming, and privided a lovely breakfast the following morning in her conservatory, which overlooked a lovely garden and a field filled with new born lambs. Perfect !! We will be back !!

nice having your own access - each room has its own front door and is like a mini cottage, with a parking space in front of each one. Lots of nice countryside walks not far away, really nice pub just down the road for dinner.

it was a bit chilly at night - but you do get lots of blankets!
