Very friendly welcome. Clean, well-equipped room with all mod cons. Fantastic value for money. The breakfast was superb. Oh, and Sam the Labrador was very friendly, too! There was absolutely nothing that we didn't like or enjoy about our stay.

Everything, as there is nothing not to like about this beautiful guest house! The hosts Diane and Jim are lovely warm people who will do everything possible to ensure that your stay with them leaves nothing to be desired. Braidmead is truly a home away from home, only better! . To note: Wonderful breakfast with lots of choices: Lovely comfortable and spotlessly clean bedroom and bathroom: Large, warm, beautifully decorated sitting area: I could go on and on. Suffice to say that of all the the hotels and guest houses we have stayed in over many years and in many countries, Braidmead ranks up there among the very best, if not THE best! . , nothing not to like

I just needed somewhere to sleep before catching the ferry in the morning. Lovely welcome, great help when lost, friendly and really nice people with beautiful facilities which justify the price. Late arrival option was greatly appreciated

We received a warm welcome from Diana and were quickly settled into our room. We had been upgraded to the large room which was a nice surprise and lovely to stay in. The room was immaculate and very comfortable. Breakfast was awesome and there was a range of choices. We were even given some cd's of Scottish music.

Room was totally clean and modern, nice comfy bed and most of all a really friendly host who goes out her way to make sure you are cared for through out your stay. No bar to relax in and wind down after a long days drive, had to go local for a drink to watch the football, but only a 2 min walk to nearest bars & restaurant.

A high grade private hotel, not your average B+B. A traditional stone town house beautifully upgraded, smartly furnished bedrooms, smart ensuite bathrooms, generously roomy guest lounge, warm genuine welcome. Very high quality matresses! Excellent for an Ayrshie weekend or a stopover en route for a west highlands holiday, or for early/late flights from Prestwick. Perfect for wedding guests. Liked the no fuss single card key for room and front door, and easy parking. Irvine is interesting for very old narrow streets and the Burns trail.

Warm and welcoming, spotlessly clean, and quality breakfast. Felt more like visiting relatives than being away from home on business.

Braidmead House was a lovely place to stay. We chose to stay here from recommendations and we were not disappointed. After taking our luggage to our rooms, Diana brought us a large pot of tea and mince pies, which were most welcome after our long drive. The rooms are very well appointed with a flat screen tv, tea/coffee making facilities along with biscuits and sweets. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble and we were made up for the day with the full Scottish breakfast. There were cereals, yogurts and fruit also available if you could find the room. Another trip up to Irvine may be on the cards and we would not hesitate to stay again....in fact we are looking forward to it! There is nothing I could say that I did not like about our stay.
