Warm welcome. Ease, friendliness and helpfulness of Alison and John, our hosts. Warmth and comfort of accommodation. Delicious breakfast with a wide range of choice, beautifully cooked. Could have done with a little more space in our twin room.

The proprietors were lovely people and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. They went "above and beyond" for us on more than one occasion. Can't say anything bad about it!

We loved everything about this B & B !!!!!!! The owners were so nice and accommodating, the house itself is beautifully appointed with every convenience we ever could have wanted!!! Beautiful rooms, furnishings, etc. They even have "box" meals for those with early check-outs to catch the early ferry!!! Our only regret is that we stayed only one night. This is a real five-star place!!!! There isn't one thing we didn't like!!!!

Simply one of the best guest houses I've stayed in! The proprietors, John and Alison are most hospitable, helping their guests with many aspects of holiday travel, making dinner reservations, suggesting things to do and places to go, bending over backwards to assist in whatever way is needed. Being about five miles from the center of Stornoway, it is helpful to have a car [they offer a car hire at Braighe House] but the house is right on a major road and the local bus route goes right past, with buses every hour or so. The location also offers wonderful views of the local bay and on a clear day you can see the Scottish mainland and the Isle of Skye. Oh, and the breakfasts are simply delicious with a wide variety of offerings fresh, locally-produced food. My only complaint is that I could hear the various noises associated with bathroom use emanating from the room next to mine....

Braighe House is very close to the airport and well signposted. The house its self is very well laid out and has stunning views. The bed room was very comfortable and Alison the owner was very helpful, offering to book a resturant for dinner and recommending a super venue. The menu ordering system for breckfast was a great idea and the food choice was extensive and very nice - i would recommend this B&B to anyone either travelling alone or as a couple.
