be careful to get rooms 1-4 etc far away from pub which does have loud music on sat night at least
We were only there one night but we found the staff to be welcoming, friendly and helpful. As we have family in the area we will definitely stay there again.
The genuineness, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff. They went out of their way to help and make me feel welcome in a very professional but siutably casual way. The food was very good as was the service.
Heating automatically off late at night - They have a good energy eco-system, but I got up in night and couldn't put the heating on.
Its n the centre of the village, with plenty of restaurants and pubs to choose from. The breakfast was lovely.
The room was clean and comfortable this our 6th time staying there
Being in a deluxe room near the road didn't sleep very much because of the traffic most of the night so I won't be wanting to stay in room 19 any more
Really liked the friendliness of the staff and the location of the hotel. Very comfortable and we had a lovely meal in the restaurant.
Friendly Staff. Eager to help. Food was excellent. Great location. Receptionist on booking was very friendly & obliging.reception manager friendly. Most off Bar manager was witty, & looked after us. Thank you all we had a GR8 time. We will be back ?
Weekend wasn't long enough
Central to shops
Badly stained toilet
Great choice of breakfast. Made to feel welcome by friendly staff. Fantastic value for money Good check in and out times
Limited toiletries in bathroom
Good car park, good restaurant and bar. Room was comfortable.
excellent staff very nice room
Friendly helpful staff.
For main I chose monkfish (I think) tail scampi with pea puree and chips. The fish and puree were both rather dry. My asparagus and egg starter was, however, very good.
This was our second stay in room 18 at the Brambletye and were just as impressed. Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious breakfast with vegetarian option. Large clean and comfortable room. Wonderful location. Can't wait to return. Thank you!
Nothing to dislike! Maybe just a heated towel rail in the bathroom would be useful.
The room was good as was the staff.nice breakfast.
Only one thing the heating did not come on until just before we went out for the evening so was rather cold all afternoon
Plenty of parking space to rear.Staff energetic and welcoming.Relaxing atmosphere.Rooms very clean as were the en suites, the rooms were well sound insulated against background noises or disturbances.Would visit again in the future.
Easy booking, friendly and attentive staff, very clean and comfortable and quiet room, windows that open, great shower (over bath), very good chef (breakfast was excellent with lots of choice - I am a chef, so I have high expectations) VERY good value. I could not find a fault in the room/staff/quality of sleep (and I am very fussy).
The on site restaurant was excellent.
Location, comfortable & quiet rooms.
Comfortable, clean & great breakfast.
Friendly and helpful staff Good brakfast
poor maintenance on building -doors that stuck Food in restaurant expensive
We were very impressed with this hotel - very nice breakfast, friendly and helpful staff, great location and quiet. Good room size too. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it.
Decor was nice and comfy bed and good breakfast
The band in the pub playin until 0100. Although we should have checked what was going on I the pub first. Alternatively the hotel should forwarn customers.
pleasant staff & a comfortable stay overall, good choice for breakfast.
only 1 towel ring for 4 towels, no towel rails for other 3. wifi did not work even after staff tried to help, stood outside shop across the road where it worked fine.
The staff were genuinely friendly and helpful, which created a nice atmosphere throughout the hotel. The double room at the back of the hotel was cosy and peaceful - you could hear the stream outside at night. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the South Downs and around, and there is a car park for guests. As many have mentioned, the breakfast is generous and varied. All in all, it was a great base for our trip and we would definitely stay again. Thank you!
