The staff were incredibly helpful, helping with a heavy suitcase, knowledge of buses and showing me the bus times, helping me with a taxi, and very pleasant at breakfast. The hotel was comfortable and good value for money. I would return

Rates were excellent - we enjoyed the breakfast in the dining room - rooms were comfortable - were able to enjoy walking and motoring from the central location - staff were friendly and helpful A pity that guests have to walk through dining area to reach their rooms - (altough this did not impact us)

The room was one of the best that we have stayed in, in its price range.Very convinient parking and easy acess to the Hotel. The only down side that we found was that the dining room and bar area were almost the same room and neither felt warm or relaxing. To bland and open.

Friendly staff; dealt with our arrival and departure quickly and efficiently. Room very pleasant, and the breakfast, included in the price, was very good, with lots of choice, again delivered pleasantly and efficiently. I have recommended it to friends and family.

Good location for access to London/Brighton. Room was comfortable, clean and spacious and the power shower was fantastic! Parking was good and easy. Great atmosphere with the connection to Sherlock Holmes Bit of traffic noise but it was on the main road so to be expected. If we stayed again we would request not to be put in the front bedrooms.

Booked hotel at a on day of my arrival and stayed two nights. Very nice recently refurbished room, very clean, large flatscreen television. Breakfast good and pleasantly served. A marketing effort could be put in for dinner; 'Early Bird', Table dhote etc could help. I ate 200 yds away both nights because they had quality food at reasonable prices. The dining room at Brambletye was conspicuous by it's emptiness dring the course of the evening. I would stay again.

Attractive location, friendly staff, good food and service. Well presented modern facilties. Whilst the carpark was a reasonable size it was almost full throughout our stay. There did not appear to be any restrictions to non hotel residents using it.

T he staff were really friendly and very helpful. The room was very nice, also the bathroom. Although I booked on line, I had a question and the hotel itself rang me about half an hour later to let me know we had a ground floor room and the car park was very close and there were disabled spaces (right outside our window!) The food was lovely and there was plenty of it. Really good value for money, to have such helpful staff and food (bed & breakfast basis), also dined there. Very good choice and very nice. We will stay again and would recommend it. The one not very good review was written by someone whom I think wouldn't like anywhere! Wasn't sure because of that one review, but it was answered in detail and various items had been dealt with - but really! they must complain about anywhere. We had had a long and very tiring day and were welcomed - and lovely to eat so close to our room!

It provided a very comfortable night at a very reasonable price. Having to make your own toast for poached eggs on toast (how do you time it?) Neither hash browns nor fried bread with the fried breakfast.

We have stayed at the Brambletye on other occasions and have never been disappointed with the food or the service from staff, however if you want a quite stay please opt for rooms at the rear of hotel on a friday- saturday nite due to the live entertainment unless you like live music. Don't get me wrong it is nice to listen to and entertaining but not when you have been travelling all day.................We will be staying here again as we think its very friendly and excellent fresh foods...

Everything was as we expected having read the reviews on Booking.com. It's good to find a hotel with a car park that's big enough for everyone who wants to use it. Like many hotels the TV reception and number of channels was rubbish. In the days of Freeview they could/should do better.

“The staff were professional and friendly, never over bearing but exactly what is needed to make you feel you are staying at a "home from home" establishment. The food was excellent. The room was very well presented, clean, spacious and modernistic - big, big TV considering the price and size of room. I travel a lot and it is the best Hotel I have stayed in for 18 months by a long margin. I am looking for reasons to travel on business in this location again as I want to stay at The Roebuck. They even lent me a charger for my blackberry. Excellent. They did everything right. Thank You.” Justin, Wimbourne |
