THE SPACE THE BREAKFAST THE BED ARE GOOD
The wonderful food, we had a 'posh' burger and chips for dinner and it was delicious. There was a wonderful choice of dishes on the breakfast menu, lots of cereals, yoghurt, fruit and fruit juices. Plenty of different dishes on the cooked breakfast menu.
The stairs to the first floor, but the room was very nice.
Accommodations, food, staff, and location all amazing value for money
We stayed just the 1 night, very clean, tidy accomodation.Very friendly and polite staff.Great breakfast, with many different choices.
The hotel covered everything I needed it for - good location, clean and a comfy bed.
The room was directly above the bar which made it hard work to get to sleep. You could hear the music quite loudly through the floor. Good job I brought some ear plugs with me or that early night that I needed may not have happened! One essential piece of advice - make sure you request a room away from the bar.
The staff were very sweet and friendly. The food was delicious.
I could hear music from the bar very early in the morning and it woke me up. Just turn it down a bit. :)
Situated in pretty village with great choice of restaurants. Hotel always good. Huge choice of breakfast options. Will stay again when in area
friendly staff. good breakfast. comfortable beds. very convenient location for sight seeing.
we were above the bar and the live music kept us awake as it did not stop until midnight. small niggle why does the chef fold bacon and cook only 1 side of it??? i am a chef and think it is lazy. beware the car park, overnight my car was scratched by another customer.
Plenty car park space. Wifi good Excellent location Staff especially good on check in. Bar staff very friendly and most helpful.
TV didn't work until Adam fixed it for us.
Just about everything was excellent. The staff went out of their way to help us. Food was extremely good as was the menu. Rooms were clean and comfortable.
Lovely friendly service clean and tidy
Everyting was excellent. Staff very helpful, especially when we arrived to find Booking.com had not registered our booking with the Hotel and they had to find accomodation for us !!!! Food excellent too. fabulous Breakfast menu.
Staff as always were really helpful
Bed was like sleeping on a Board.
The fact that the check in manager was not very helpful. We were not informed that breakfast was included so we spent nearly £30 to eat at other locations. We were informed as we checked out.....no good then?
Central location but very quiet, big fluffy towels, king size comfy bed, fridge in room, very friendly staff, very hot fast flowing water, delicious breakfast, plenty of parking spaces
Chips in crockery (found 2) hairdryer in drawer too low down to dry hair easily whilst looking in mirror
Location The family room had two separate rooms - one with a double bed and the other with two singles. Comfortable bed and bedding.
Dated and rather shabby decor Broken light fitting in room.
The room, though small, was attractive and comfortable. The staff were helpful
I complained about the beef bourgignon - 21/2 pieces of meat ! We could hear our neighbours talking and snoring and using the loo.
Bedrooms at the back of the hotel away from the road and any traffic noise Large car park. Friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable room with good facilities, well serviced every day. Good choice on menu for breakfast and evening meal.
the room nice and large with good sized bath
Food in the evening ( in our opinion ) was a bit limited or did not inspire us. For Breakfast there was a good selection of fruit juices cereals and fruit but the cooked was a bit lacking. I asked for sausage bacon and scrambled eggs and received 1 sausage and a minute piece of bacon with the eggs which probably tasted better than they looked. My Wife just asked for grilled bacon and recieved 2 pieces that put together would not have made 1 slice.
The staff were delightful and very helpful especially at breakfast. We were able to check in early.
The noise from the road - our room was at the front of the hotel.
Nice room and friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Stayed here while taking part in London Spartan Races. Rooms were clean and well serviced and the location was within 10 mins of the race venue (about 4 miles). Nice breakfast selection and couldn't fault the staff at all. I would definitely stay here again before future events and WiFi is free
Very convenient to stay for a wedding at Michael Hall.
Helpful, friendly staff Convenient car parking Low room and food prices
