Made us feel very welcome, and Monique & Steve are such a lovely couple, they were most helpful in finding places for us to visit, and where to go for a nice evening meal etc. The cleanliness of the place is just lovely, we stayed in rooms in the new building, just great, very spacious and clean and fresh, lovely and quiet, the breakfast was truly wonderful. Lovely quiet location, so no noise at night, but only about a mile or so from the centre. Perfect!! We will definitely be back to visit you again. Thank you both for a lovely weekend stay.
Lovely garden and conservatory area. The staff were happy for us to order takeaway food and provided all the plates, cutlery for us to eat outside
Only a duvet with cover and very hot. Prefer the option of a top sheet and then can throw off the duvet. We had to take it out of the cover and then use just the cover
Very comfortable, spacious, clean and well equipped bedroom Excellent freshly cooked breakfast Good car parking Good location Warm welcome
Nothing we didn't like
Approx 2 mile from the town centre Good quality breakfast with plenty of choice. Relaxing grounds to sit. Comfortable bed
Owner was really lovely and friendly. Room was very clean
I thought it was expensive for what it was.
Extremely pleasant hosts - nothing was too much trouble. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Excellent breakfast served with a smile. All in all a good experience.
We found it mildly irritating that, although we were in a double room there was only one small bottle of water and one pack of biscuits for two people.
Nothing not to like. Best b and b we have stayed in.
Superb breakfast with local produce. Garden rooms were very comfortable and well appointed. The owners and staff were extremely welcoming and friendly.
A more accessible power point would be useful. We could only find one socket not integrated into electrical equipment and it was under the dressing table. A minor point as everything else was fine.
Friendly staff, lovely breakfast great location…close to town but not too close. lovely
Shower pressure was a little weak
We were welcomed when we arrived at 8.30pm . Room was clean comfortable quiet and just what we needed for a overnight stay. Breakfast was excellent - good choice and well presented. The staff were very helpful and pleasant.
The butter was Danish and not English!
Beatiful garden, nice friendly staff, great breakfast. Coffee and tea making facilities in room. Free parking, easy to find.
Only one power outlet in my room.
Shower was poor
The room was well appointed spacious and clean
The absence of the option for an evening meal could have been a problem, but a very good Pub 1 mile away provided a good menu
Shower was a bit poor
Everything. Excellent location for Hereford and the Wye Valley. Lovely room, with a divinely comfortable bed and fabulous en-suite. We had everything we needed, and the hosts could not have been more friendly and helpful. One of the best hotels we have stayed in.
There was nothing we didn't like
We were made to feel very welcome. Will have no worries about letting people know here to stay if they are visiting Hereford.
Helpful staff and the burbling fountain and birdsong heard from a room in the garden wing.
Everything was spot on,staff, cleanliness and food was first class
Very friendly owner and nice young woman serving breakfast, which was very good. Very clean and comfortable. Excellent value. Nice to have use of the garden and a sitting room. Run very professionally.
Shower was disappointing and we could have done with additional hooks or rails in the bathroom for damp towels. Also not enough shelving in the bathroom for spongebags and stuff.
Welcoming staff, very high level of cleanliness, great scrambled eggs!
the place was very nice, close enough to Hereford, but far enough away to give a rural feel. The room was spacious and clean and a decent size.
Had a little trouble accessing the room on arrival, and had to look for someone to let us into the hotel.. Once found they were apologetic and helpful!
Everything was very good.
Nice outdoor seated area, a, very good breakfast and friendly service.
Room was very fussy. Not very comfortable with huge lace curtain hanging over bed, had to sleep at the other end.
We had a warm greeting from the owners, a fabulous breakfast, it was a very pleasant stay. Thanks
Not much at all although I am a tall guy, so the bed was just adequate. Having said that we would stay there again. Highly recommend Brandon lodge to anyone
The staff were amazing.
I found the bed so uncomfortable I had to sleep on the floor.
