Score from 70 reviews Superb
Very spacious, lovely views. Very comfortable main bed. Good kitchen facilities with fantastic view.
shower did not really work very well so stuck to the bath.
Location in the country.
Facilities limited and equipment for outdoor games in poor condition. Conservatory attached to the appartment in very poor condition.
The location is peaceful, clean and not too far from shops and centres, the staff were really friendly and helpful on both visits that we made. It's great value for money, there was plenty of things to do on site and off site for example berry picking, tracking, tennis, darts, cinemas, pubs, seaside etc. we had a fantastic time again for the second time round!
Spacious apartment in nice grounds.
Some equipment looked a little jaded.
The peace and quiet, the space for children to play.
close to Gatwick and cosy cottages
The place is fantastic faded grandeur, nice large rooms, well equipped, no longer the smartest place but priced accordingly and perfect for a family with two small children. Huge grounds to explore. Nice peaceful lounge. Very helpful and friendly staff on check in.
Beautiful and grand setting, magical secret gardens, nice spacious layout of mews cottage, well equipped kitchen, comfy beds and sofa for extra guests, games room for kids, friendly staff on reception, peacocks!
Accommodation & grounds need a little TLC, few cobwebs and wood lice in cottage, no provisions at all - places usually leave you a pint of milk, sugar, tea & coffee, but there was nothing.
Lovely setting Had our very own little cottage, had a homely feel. Nice receptionist very helpful
Wifi was weak No hair dryer, well could not find one, but had most of things
This was the perfect place for a family celebration weekend catering for a wide range of ages. Although slightly run down (it is on the market), Brantridge is magical place and one we would return to with delight.
The 'tiredness' was a shame (things like showers not working, games equipment of a poor standard, doors and windows too damaged to open, etc); we were just sorry to see it like that and would have loved to have stayed there in its former glory. We loved it.
Garden, lovely romantic, nostalgic atmosphere! Our cottage was very spacious with a lovely view brom th bedroom (No 9) Great for families!
Fantastic location, marvellous grounds.
Difficult to find - post code area very large. The appartment we had was super size but now somewhat dated and window drapes were in extremely poor condition
The surroundings and the extremely helpful staff.
The TV was old fashioned & the whole place is a little tired. The gardens could do with weeding!
The setting is lovely, booking in and out was easy and the beds were very comfortable. The apartment is spacious and airy.
Some of the amenities are very dated and tired, particularly the t.v. and seating. The bathroom was also tired and the shower pressure feeble. The conservatory has seen better days.
The fact that our booking had not been fully communicated to Bantridge park. According to them it's booking.com who is at fault here.
The location and the general feel of the place. Although it was a bit rundown it still had an air of elegance.
This place needs a lot of money spent on it very rundown! But the staff very friendly and helpful.
Had everything we needed But was very disappointed At how rundown it was. Could be better if more time was spent just tidying up the leisure areas for clients .
A truly amazing place. For those that have read the Secret Garden -this is it! Children can run free and explore all sorts of magical areas, and there is a white peacock too! Its near to everywhere - very peaceful (although the peacock does not like thunder and tells you so!). For us it was near all the places we wanted to visit. Its an absolute gem. The accomodation was well maintained and the jacuzzi bath was a bonus.
We didnt mind at all but some would find things a bit shabby and a bit dated - but actually for us that was part of the charm
Fantastic setting and very quiet. The building is really majestic but really not living up to expectation from the listing. I would stay again but not at the current room rate which is pricey for what you are really getting.
This hotel is very dated and in urgent need of a facelift. Beds were lumpy and bedding past its best. Bathrooms looking shabby and kitchen is a fine example of a 1980 fit out. We moved rooms as the first one we were offered had water stains on the walls in 3 rooms from the leaking roof and smelt damp.
Quietness( apart from the peacock!) Lovely Grounds,The mews cottage was all on one level this time , cool ,well equipped and the matress was exceptional.Very relaxed atmosphere our second stay and will come again ,there are lovely gardens to visit in the vicinity too.
A bit of money needs spending to replace conservatory glass , double glazing failures. Woodwork repairs at the same time. Removing the ash saplings from the grounds and gardens will stop a major problem for you later. Just pulling major weeds before they seed as well. Clean the airfilter above the cooker in mews 2 and fix it back.
Lovely outdoor areas, tranquil location
Buildings somewhat faded
It was clean. One member of staff was excellent
Other members of staff were not helpful.
The cottage wasnt clean, would have been nice to have been left at least a couple of tea bages and a couple of small milks. woken up at 5am every morning to the swalking of a white peacock outside the window. All very run down and uncared for.. No staff around.
Beautiful, peaceful location. The property was spacious and very warm. The staff were very helpful. Our children thoroughly enjoyed playing pool and table tennis in the games room.
The bathrooms were not especially clean, although we understand that there had been a shortage of regular cleaning staff at the time of our stay.
Very nice location if you want to get away from things. I was staying on business and quite happy to cook for myself.
For business, the WiFi could have been better, but probably not a problem for most people. It worked, but the signal in my room wasn't perfect.
