The peace and seclusion and what a location?
Somewhat needing some TLC ....but would cost as lot of money to restore it to its past glory.
Location is beautiful but is remote - you must have a car. Facilities in the apartment very good - furniture is homely and cosy Staff very accommodating and helpful
Wifi is very intermittent - that's the price you pay for the rural local but business travellers should be aware of this if access to wifi is important to you.
Huge apartment Value for Money Beautiful Setting Wild deer in grounds
Lack of lighting around site at night - slightly eerie
This apartment has charm and was very spacious. We enjoyed our stay. Effort needs to be made to keep facilities up to date.
the forest road, the park-like years, the quite place for leasures is very good place to stay. hope come next time if we come to UK
the wirless is poor and only in yeard can login
We was a couple celebrating our anniversary and we got two single beds instead of one double which supposted to be there wasn't very happy
The grounds are gorgeous and the apt was nice. It is a very peaceful place away from everything
The whole place is dated and tired, I would of been very disappointed if we had paid the full price on the website. We did get value for money for what we paid t
Well equipped Large rooms with double height ceilings Beautiful manor house location Peaceful Parking very close to apartment
Sofa bed was a little uncomfortable but fine for a couple of noghts
Very quiet and calm. Beautiful old home, clean but a little tired both inside and out. Kitchen well equipped.
No tea, coffee or milk provided. No toiletries except liquid hand soap. It is a shame that there is no bar or tea shop on site.
In need of major renovation and refurbishment.
What an amazing place, and good value for money! If you like being in the country and hearing owls at night, peace and tranquillity this is so the place to be for a break, its beautiful. The staff are the best there is, don't hesitate just book. Our stay was 9 days and the best 9 days we've had for a very long time. House sale fell through and needed somewhere to live for the 9 days, such a reasonable cost, I almost wish we could have stayed longer. Everything you need is here and 100 acres of pure nature around you. We are local but will definitely return for a break. The staff were lovely and couldn't do enough to help or advise on the local area...thankyouuuu!!
Excellent quiet location for excursions in Kent, East & West Sussex & Hampshire
Inadeuqate WiFi (kept dropping out for extended periods) and no mobile phone coverage
Enjoyed the size of the apartment and of the individual rooms. The fabulous views both front and back and the total peace and quiet. Was great to be able to play table tennis and snooker on site.
Didn't like being so far away from shops and restaurants. If I had realised beforehand I would have made sure we went prepared to eat all meals indoors rather than go out as the kitchen was well stocked with all mod cons.
Not for us but I think if someone hasn't got own vehicle it's not quite straight forward,
Location, walks, views
Spacious cottage; relaxing setting
Overall facility looking run down and value for money; rated fair but questionable
Beautiful and peaceful location. Great place for a time-out!
Space of apartment and house was stunning with lovely period features. The location was excellent combined with great value for money.
Nothing it was exactly described
Large spaces - fantastic grounds rustic charm - old fashioned but clean and comfortable. The deals are great.
taking own rubbish out - what is that all about!? (And if left a £20 fine to card paid with - very steep.) I stay in many serviced apartments and never I have come across this. I wouldn't pay the full price - only ever stay when I find a deal.
Very close to Crawley and train to London easy access to Brighton and South Coast. Lovely quiet setting Staff were very friendly and accommodating.
We loved the stunning setting, the peace and quiet and the space, both inside the apartment and outside in the extensive grounds. The apartment had everything we needed and was very comfortable. The lovely views from all our windows made our stay one to remember, and we will hopefully return before too long.
The shower was a bit tricky to set at a cool enough temperature, but we worked it out eventually - a minor problem.
Ambiance ++, like a guest house. History, quirky, etc - it's got the lot. A former Royal manor converted to timeshare and now offering rooms that would cost £100's for less that £100. Don't let this chance go by, £30 taxi gets you to Gatwick or Brighton.
Everything a bit tired, but more than adequate. No welcome pack, tea etc, or arrival so it's remoteness makes that awkward.
The house and gardens are very lovely, so much space to wander. Great for kids (and adults) so we didn't get to explore much of the beautiful surrounding area The staff were dedicated and really helpful. Some of the furnishings and fittings in are very old fashioned. This appealed to to us much more than cheap sterile modern tat found in many other places in a similar price range. We thought it great value for money.
The other side of it being a cheap place to stay: despite the best efforts of a skeleton staff Brantridge needs more than they can do to keep it in top class: it needs some serious investment eq, the apartment we stayed in is need of an update - armchairs past their best, woodwork and windows in need of repair. As a result, was not possible for the staff to maintain the high standards they clearly strived for.
