Lovely helpful people
Room a little cramped.
Rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was good. Staff friendly and accommodating.
Lack of parking facilities
very good breakfast
cat strolling through the breakfast room and sitting on the tables with breakfast plates already in place
Good location, good staff and good breakfast.
Wifi is a bit slow.
Breakfast is quite acceptable
Room needs tender loving care
Really comfy bed and pillows Good Breakfast 15 mins walk to Grassmarket 25 mins to castle good room facilities
mould in shower coffee at breakfast required re-filling of percolator, needs to be bigger, or some instant to hand.
Very Friendly staff, good breakfast service
Shower very old and not great, room a bit tired, a bit of a walk into the Fringe
Enjoyed the breakfast Beds were lovely and comfy Staff were pleasant
Everything else! The rooms were dirty, fungus on the floor and wall. We booked a parking lot, which weren't available on arrival.
Location good, staff helpful, breakfast good
Ability to book just 1 night during the run up to August Fringe and Tattoo.
Parking was 10 houses down the road outside a mates house I guess. Noisy doorbell for room on the ground floor.
Beds very comfortable Rooms clean & tidy staff friendly bus stop within 100mtrs to town walk to town within 25minutes good breakfast free wi fi
bedroom door difficult to open wi fi signal not strong 52 steps to room no dumb waiter or lift for luggage
Staff were very pleasant and location is very good - within walking distance of the city centre and on a regular bus route.
Wifi worked only in the dining room which staff used as a living room so, though they were perfectly pleasant about it, using the room felt awkward. Our bathroom could have done with a good clean, and the bed was so uncomfortable for two people that one of us slept on the floor each night.
Filthy bathroom, even after cleaning, it was still dirty. Beds very small. Staff friendly except one person very unfriendly at the edge of beeing rude. No WI-FI in the room it worked only in the breakfast-room.
stop off for going to the castle for concert, staff was nice breakfast not bad , but the room needs a good clean and we had a big step to get to the loo etc :-(
Excellent location Clean and tidy room Good breakfast Fantastic city
Noisy cat outside the bedroom all night! ! No sleep
Location, location, location
Room a bit 'tight' for three and somewhat basic but for £75 in that location this isn't unexpected and the place is still excellent value.
Staff is friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very nice. Good bus route at about half a block from the hotel. Hop on hop off sightseeing bus passes about two blocks away
Food was great
This was an adequate B&B for our time in Edinburgh. About a 20 min walk to High Street, but through good neighborhoods. Breakfast included was average. Wifi was spotty. Helpful staff in directing us to where we could find a parking garage for 12 pounds a day.
Spotty WIFI. Misunderstood the parking situation. I thought it was included and available on the street around the house. Not the case. They have 2 spots that must be reserved well in advance and paid for.
We had a lovely stay at the Braveheart, breakfast was lovely and our room very comfortable the staff are welcoming and very polite, location was central and near to all forms of transport. We loved the peace and quiet.
Breakfast was excellent as were the staff. Sheets and towels clean.
The single room was very small but that is what I booked (it could do with updating)and the shared bathroom needs updating; it was kept clean but could do with new shower curtains. The glass door was interesting but privacy could be obtained with judicial use of the shower curtain.
