Fridge not in the room
The location was just right, far enough away from the bustle of the main centre but close enough to walk. Breakfast was good, staff very friendly and helpful.
We paid for a luxury double room which was quite small. The bed was a little uncomfortable but the shower was excdellent. The decor in general could do with an improvement.
They really went out of there way to accommodate us with a very early departure breakfast. Really appreciated that. Friendly.
Shower temperature was not controllable.
Deluxe room was lovely breakfast was really nice and efficient really friendly staff can not fault anything for the price stayed last year and will be booking again
just what we were looking for away from the main resort of Blackpool but just a tram ride in with a tram stop just across the road.
the building was old so not suitable for a lift to be installed so not suitable for disabled clients also could have had a ground floor WC.
Good location, good breakfast
Family rooms were on the 2nd floor via a narrow staircase which is a problem with suitcases & kids in tow??? Beds were very uncomfortable.
i can't fault my stay it was perfect for familys and good value for money and would recommend it to anyone.the staff were helpfull and i would recommend the full english breakfast.
The rooms were good value for money, and the breakfast was very good, the staff were friendly. All round good value for money
Lovely run hotel, all staff were excellent, Fab food....The room was ideal for myself, husband & 2 boys...age 8 & 12! Very relaxing at night with a bar & pool table for the boys also game machines :-) Ideal Location for a family.....
a very good hotel for a small price.and iwill use again
end of holiday
Warm welcome Location Clean frsh smelling room
Cooked breakfast a bit of a let down. Bacon and sausage had no flavour, Room ok for single person but if 2 shared for any longer than a weekend it would be a struggle. Very limited hanging space. Very small shower cubicle.
Great food very helpful staff great location comfortable
Room was nice and cozy, the hotel itself is located next to a small park. The helpfulness of the staff was unbelievable - I was staying for several days and leaving in really, really early mornings, but even then they were so kind to prepare a take-away breakfast for me.
Quite a walk to the centre of Blackpool, but then again - if taking it on the promenade along the seaside, it becomes a bonus even. :)
service food accomidation location
stairs auto light in bathroom
Off road parking. Near to tramline Near to beach Excellent breakfast choice and plenty of it.
Very quiet hotel & location Clean Nice Breakfast Friendly staff/owners
Shower ran hot & cold only worked when the sink hot tap was on. Bed was uncomfortable but ok for an overnight stay.
The room. The hygiene. The plastic sheet. Apart from location nothing really good to say about the place
Very uncomfortable beds
The room was clean and there was a good supply of tea, coffee, sugar etc. the bed was really comfy and we had no trouble with the TV. It was nice to go a have a game of pool in the evening as well!
The bathroom wasn't very clean - hair in the sink and shower so had to wash out before using. The breakfast wasn't great either - only one of each item on your plate and not all cooked thoroughly.
Nice quiet location, very nice owners, really helpful, will stay again
Very good location and near to front. Friends getting married from hotel nearby so was in easy walking distance and close to tram stop for Registry Office.;
No real dislikes but stairs are steep if you are getting older or have disability.
My daughter (9) and I have just come back from a short stay at The Brayton. We stayed for 3 nights. We found the hotel very nice and comfortable. The location is perfect if you want a quiet area to stay, but still close to the amusement. We upgraded to a delux room and it was worth it. The room we got was fine, all the things you need. Not so much space for hanging your close but there were 2 draws - one small and one medium, both with 3 draws. Room was clean with coffee/tea making facilities and hairdryer. Nice big shower with two shower heads. One was hand held. Breakfast was lovely. Selection of cereal and cooked breakfast. You have to order your breakfast on a form the night before and circle what you would like to eat - there are plenty of choises - and also indicate what time you want to eat. I think this is a really good idea. Reg location. The owner told us we could buy tickets for the tram/bus just around the corner at the Spar shop. Tickets was £2.00 for child and £3.50 for adult. Tickets work for both tram and bus and you can jump on and off the whole day/eve. If you buy on the tram, they are bit more expensive. The tram/bus stop are only 5 min walk from the hotel. We also walked along the seafront into the Blackpool Tower and it took us approx 30-40 min with stops to take photos ect... Would def come back and stay at this hotel again.
The control of the hot/cold water in the shower was a bit tricky. Had to spend some time going forth and back to get the right temperature.
No problems good size rooms good breakfast would use again.
Food & Quiet room
The bed was nt really comfortable, but was clean...
Lovely quiet location away from all the hussle and bustle but only 5 minutes on a tram into the centre.
