blue coats are very good, the room was clean and the outdoor play areas for the children are great. the food was cold and had been out for a long time, when a child was sick on the dance floor no one was willing to clean it up the children ending up rolling in it!!!!

Location of Pontins site was good The chalets or 'sheds' are in state of disrepair, I booked 3 chalets on arrival one door was already open due to the door being off the runners we had to get a maintenance team out to fix this. The chalets were very dirty & smelt of fish & generally dirty smell!! Thanks to 2 wonderful cleaners who spent around 1hr deep cleaning the chalets these were a little more liveable. The one chalet even though the water was on had no hot water so the people in there had to have showers in the other rooms. Our chalets looked out over the golf course but unfortunately when we looked out all we could see was litter over the grassed area. The club at night was closed this was at (11pm) thank goodness for the Seagull pub over the road!! Wouldn't recommend this to anyone & as this was for a hen weekend felt gutted that it was such a disappointment!!

nothing about pontins! brean sands is a nice place the fact that we had to pay for electricity, which was very expensive.chalet furnishings uncomfortable, heating system totally inadequate! having to make up ones own beds and being sold awful bedding with no option for refusal.(i told them to keep it)

Bed settee like sleeping on a plank of wood. Putting electric in meter. Making up beds with cheap linen. Dirty under twin beds. Too basic Being treated like kids to line up behind chairs to get keys

Our booking hadn't gone through at pontins end luckily I had the booking form printed out but as we were waiting they gave us £5.00 free electric. It was a lovely location The booking not going through and ready despite me ringing bookings.com in the morning to confirm the check in. Not being made aware there is an electric meter in the chalet The resteraunt at pontins is very dated and dirty looking. Dont use the tomato sauce as there was a horrible white substance in it !!! food was not great for the money

despite pontins appearing on watchdog my wife and i found that our chalet was good value for money. it was warm at nights despite the cold november weather outside, and everything worked as it should,, so if your looking for a great value family holiday venue look no further than pontins. only have a couple of negatives to pick up on really, the spout on the teapot looked dirty enough to make me not want to use it as i couldn't find anything to clean it with, and there was only one coffee mug which wasn't really a problem as they sell them in the site shop. if you want luxary go to the ritz,

Will never stay again...arrived at 19.50 after booking in the morning...no bed linen in chalet...had to fetch it ourselves from night security hut(the 2 guards were very helpfull !) we also were not aware that we had to pay £20 deposit...then in the morning had to strip and take to laundry housekeeping hut!For £46 a night..wish we had stayed in a b&b or hotel now for the same price ...thought it would be nice to be near the Brean beach !You live & learn!I Know its self catering....but to have to do the laundry is a bit much!I Have stayed in self catering places before and always at least had beds made up ready!

locality and area the chalet did not reflect price charged over £100.00 per night.bathroom not clean and door would not stay shut as no lock fittings electric meter used cards up really fast and due to high hire cost i think this should have been included.the breakfast buffet was ok but the trays were always empty and so large queues formed as people waited for fresh supplies.

1. The Entertainment for the children was good 2. It was a good start base for all the local attractions 3. 1. The floor had just been washed and was very slippery. (Annoying when you're trying to unpack, and a potential hazard) 2. The television looked like it cost £10 from a car boot sale. It had no inline suppresors, so any mobile phones or electrical equipment near it sent it into a buzzing frenzy. 3. There were crumbs all around the work surfaces, and half a cigarette butt under the microwave. (we don't smoke) 4. We paid £246 for two nights whereas our next door neighbour paid £120 for three nights (late booking) 5. Being woken at 3:10am by drunks returning from a night out. (where was security?, because they were'nt exactly quiet) 6. No furniture, including the beds, were very comfortable. It was like a trip back to the 50's.

The accomodation was good, clean and adaquately equipped. The fact that we had to collect our bed linen make our own beds up I thought was very poor. Facilities on the site were very poor. Having stayed at Butlins on many occasions there was no comparison and the cost was about the same.

The location. The site was shabby and run down, There was litter and discarded cutlery ? on the grass. The play area was very poor we have better facilities in our back garden. No zip wire or wall climbing. The chalet was a dismal hovel and the windows smeared with seagull mess. I could have cried when we saw the place. We had to queue for our keys for over an hour. A friend and her three children had booked too and there was a mouse trap in their chalet ! We were supposed to have four chairs (two of ours were upside down on the grass four chalets away.) Two wire hangers between four of us is just stupid. One pillow ? we had to go and get another three. We used the swimming pool three times and every time no toilet paper and mucky floors even in the morning ? We were glad to leave the place.
