Basic room. Poor internet. Not good for business traveller.
Extremely clean rooms
Fire alarm went off two nights out of three while we were there. Saturday night was like a grab a granny night with the bar full of groups of men on the prowl!
Staff were great.

Music and my room
Lots of noise at 5am
The only thing that spoil our weekend was the fact that one of our party Craig Trist turned 18 this year and was looking forward to this weekend as we have been before and he was not old enough to drink the last time, but wasn't even allowed to enter the bar which we were all drinking in earlier and then refused in the evening as its strictly over 21. I can understand the rules but sometimes I think a little bit of discretion could of come into the situation as 1) It is a hotel & not just a club. 2) We asked if we could just stay in the bar & he would only drink soft drinks but was refused. 3) We travelled a long way just for him to sit in his room all night when the rest of us drank downstairs so his dad felt guilty and left as well so ending up spoiling everyones night. All in all I think as it is a hotel rules could have been overlooked a little as a good doorman could see that he was not a trouble maker and that we offered to take full responsibility for him & explained that he was also with his dad. This weekend cost him a lot of money just to sit in his room.So all in all ruined the weekend.
I liked the rooms and the bar area with Snooker tables, the nightclub was ok, very quirky building. The availability of food was good and the prices were good apart from breakfast
No spa facilities, breakfast was very expensive so ate out locally. Could not easily walk along river without a hike up to a bridge.
Was there with 30 friends for my 50th. Could not have had a better time. Excellent!
Staff were great. Room was good value. Breakfast was good.
Beds not firm. No main customer computer monitors in a wifi area for customers to use.
The room, wi fi and friendliness of the staff. Had stayed previously this was an improved experience.
Food, Snooker Tables, Shower
No Shower Curtain
One person smiled
The staff did their jobs very well but without any concern for the customer. Automatons!
FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD WITH LOTS OF OPTIONS.
I FOUND MOULD/DIRT MARK ON A WALL IN MY BEDROOM.
Every member of staff was keen and pleasant
The hotel room was spacious and well furnished. The bathroom was very large and included a first class shower. The entire area was spotless and all staff, of which there were very many, were extremely obliging and helpful. The food was particularly good.
On both Friday and Saturday nights the dining experience was ruined by groups of, mainly young, women shouting and screaming in the restaurant. It was impossible to carry on a conversation with my dinner partner. Many of the ladies appeared to be somewhat inebriated and the Management need to control their clientele so that it does not disturb other guests.
Lovely big room and a great choice of breakfast
The noisy bar area
Nightclub is good
Food- chicken salad gave me food poisoning!
Lovely big rooms
Needs a lot of updating. It has an oldie feel to it, which is lovely, put needs fresh paint and wall paper and new carpets. When you look closely it is very tired.
This is my favourite hotel in the Manchester area. Strengths: - gym - location - cleaning - spacious room - excellent restaurant - good room price - very kind staff
very hard to find something negative. Maybe the price of the breakfast...
Breakfast is lovely, staff are lovely
Found a false nail under the bed, beds dont seem to be made properly.
Clean and large rooms
Party noise in early hours.
