My elderly mother, who accompanied me on this visit, did find the stairs up to the first floor en-suite rooms rather difficult. However, this would not put her off staying there again. This one point is more than offset by the positive things about the pub and the accommodation.
Very good and attractive location, within very easy walking distance of the sea and beach.
The town centre is also within easy walking distance. Easy to get to from the A39.
The Brendon Arms (together with the Falcon Hotel next door) has its own private car park.
Friendly and helpful staff. It would appear to be a very popular pub and bearing-in-mind our experiences of eating there, this does not surprise me. Have stayed before and very happy to continue to recommend it.
