Friendly, comfortable, clean, nice room, lovely breakfast and a reasonable price.

Having to arrive between 10 and 2.00 was abit of a pain - we couldn`t so had to phone to arrange. All worked out well but seemed an unnecessary complication..

Lovely b&b but we were in the room next to the kitchen and dining room which was noisy in the morning

One very nice place , easy parking , Staff most helpful and clearly understand who the customer is. Breakfast was excellent with a choice of cererals , fruit juices and also full english if required and well cooked. We will stay here again as good location , 15mins walk into the centre and the railway musuem with plenty of pubs about !

Staff efficient and friendly. Room lovely. A little on the cosy side but did the job as out in the city most of the time. I guess I would have loved a bath as well as a shower but the shower was good.

We really enjoyed our stay here, this was our second visit to Brentwood Guest House and on both occasions we have been more than happy with the services provided. The guest house is cosy, comforting and the staff are very welcoming and friendly and make you feel right at home. The rooms are clean and comfortable, just the right size for a one or two night stay. The staff are very helpful when we arrive and ask if we need any help with directions around the city etc. The complimentary breakfast included is also a great start to the day! I would definately recommend staying here to anyone!

Very clean and well organised b&B. 10Min walk to the city center. On street parking (permit supplied by the guesthouse) and quiet area. Our room looked recently renovated and modern.

Can't remember if it was mentioned on the website before we booked but there is a (small) surcharge if you pay by credit card. It is mentioned in the room when you get there. So either pay cash or by uk debit card to avoid the charge.

It was close to the city .the staff were friendly. The rooms were clean and comfortable.the breakfast was good

Just missing shampoo and conditioner in the bathroom

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Brentwood and would certainly reccommend it to friends.The owner (staff) were very friendly, helpful and nothing seemed to be to much trouble.The room if anything was a liitle bit small but both room and ensuite were spotlessly clean on our arrival and to return back to each day. Breakfast was delicious and very well organised. If we return to York we would not hesitate to stay at the Brentwood again Geoff

The staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were very good. Plenty selection and well presented.

Rooms very small particularly Room 8. En suite facilities good but looked like everything had been "shoe-horned" in. Beds comfortable. Our first experience of b & b and unlikely to be repeated due to lack of space.

It was great to leave the car and walk everywhere. In 15 minutes you were in the city centre.The room was comfortable with all that I needed. The owners/staff were friendly and breakfast plentiful.

Excellent position, close enough to walk to the city. Very friendly staff and a good breakfast to help start our day.

The toilet did not flush very well, and the shower was weak.
