Location. Helpful owner. Friendly.
Owner said parking was free in all car park new years day. It wasn't and we received a parking ticket. There was a dart board on the premises and our older boys could not play due to the owners family all being in the room. Wifi was only available by standing at the front door, unavailable in our room. Shelf in the bedroom extremely loose. Tea and coffee making facilities dusty and dirty.
Very friendly Good breakfast Clean and comfortable Great central location
Received a very warm welcome, room was clean with tea-making facilities, the food was delicious. Peter and Denise could not do enough for you ...lovely couple. Brentwood House was in a brilliant position very near to the harbour and a short distant from the shops We had a lovely weekend.
breakfast brilliant left to come and go as we pleased spot on location
all of the above it was so nice and the owners of this place are so nice and will do anything to make your stay welcome fantastic place for a break
The welcome was outstanding! The location was great.
1, Rubbish car park. 2, Breakfast on a tea plate. 3, Breakfast a bit tight & cramped. 4, Double bed was lumpy. 5, Other guests was very noisy. 6, Sounds like a generator is running through the night. 7, Great if you don't have a car.
Friendliness of the landlord and landlady who upgraded me to a double room at no extra charge They also made me a breakfast and coffee to go earlier than their normal breakfast times without any fuss.
Cant think of anything other than the weather .
owners very nice, stayed with them one night and had a great laugh , breakfast very nice , would stay there again
Breakfast Shower- excellent. Bed comfortable. Tea coffee available in room Parking available.
Peter and Denise spare no effort in creating a homely atmosphere for their guests. Breakfast is beautifully prepared and presented. The lounge and bar add to the friendliness of the establishment and make for a sociable stay.
Peter is very kind person and we were happy to stay in his guest house
Location staff & an excellent breakfast
great weekend stay here
The owners were so friendly and helpful. The family room was comfortable, and it felt like staying at a friends house. There was a shared lounge with TV that my kids enjoyed using at the end of the day before tea. Highly recommend.
Everything me & son 5ys had a brill time in the traditional seaside resort
Weather. We would have stopped longer
Breakfast is absolutely amazing. Such a lovely couple that would do anything for you. We felt so much at home.
Having to come home
position of hotel excellent. staff went all out to make us really welcome and gave us plenty info on things to do and even timetables of buses when needed. food was fabulous and plentiful. hotel spotless.
as always at the seaside the gulls can be a bit noisy at times. didn't spoil our break though
friendly staff very clean excellent breakfast
Very friendly owners spotlessly clean very comfortable great breakfast
The owners were very helpful and looked after us very well. Breakfast was good with a nice selection including fresh fruit salad.
Shared tables at breakfast ( although we didn't actually have to share as it was quiet when we had breakfast
The owners were very friendly and went out of their way to make us an early breakfast so that we could catch a boat trip at 9 o'clock.
Nobody needs a 15 tog duvet in the middle of July in a room where you can't open the window for the noise! Bridlington has a huge seagull problem and the noise at night is horrendous. I didn't sleep at all. The room was small and stuffy with the window closed, but we couldn't leave it open because of the noise. We would not choose to stay in the middle of Bridlington again. In addition, the mattress was hard and the pillows had seen better days. The owners may want to consider putting a 4.5 tog duvet on the bed and leaving extra blankets for the cold holiday makers. The place in general could have done with a bit of an update.
Location, privacy, breakfast.
Small room, small bathroom, noisy seagulls from 4am!
the friendly welcome from the owners and the location close to everything the room was nice and clean with clean towels and sheets etc
can say i disliked anything
Central location..Bridlington is a fun place..
New Noisy neighbours swearing and upsetting other neighbours and partying till 4... ...car park too small so car placed on the front of hotel where the party was...having to make a police statement after no sleep next day(although they did move us to another room and gave us twenty pounds but unfortunately a day later put some noisy guests next door so couldnt stand it and we left early)...two flights of stairs to get to our room ...very small rooms ..no wifi in top rooms unless you stood in a certain place..In general awful experience ...shame really its in such a rundown street ...local drunk seems nice though and they try their best with what they have...but will never return.
Great food and friendliness
leaving to go home
