Briarfields Hotel  

Food fabulous, staff very pleasant and willing, breakfasts particularly good. As other guests comment, wouldn't stay anywhere else in the area now.

From the moment we arrived we were made to feel welcome! The staff were very friendly and helpful! The food though slighty expensive was first class. Our room was extremely comfortable. All in all a very enjoyable stay and we will certainly return!

The food for our evening meal was really excellent, nice ambience, too.We went for a superior double room, which was large and well decorated in a modern style. The bathroom was also very large and luxurious. Wonderful setting next to coastal marshes and RSPB reserve. We'd love to go again.

If I have to find something, I would mention the the quality of the hair dryer supplied didn't match the luxury of the rest of the room. At first we thought thought there were not enough toiletries, but actually the shower gel was of such good quality that you didn't need to use all that much.

The food was amazing! Our room was large comfortable clean and well appointed in the courtyard. Everyone was friendly and very efficient . Plenty of comfortable areas where we could sit and relax with a cream tea after exploring the area. The Hotel is perfectly placed for Bird watchers/nature lovers/ walkers/people wanting a relaxing break/ amazing beaches/stately homes /shopping in Burnham Market ! Having stayed in other Hotels in the area I will definitely keep returning to this one ! they should have an extra star !!!!!!

NB The are nt dislikes just comments. !!!!!!!! Not sure about the eat drink sleep flags on front of building we had stayed locally before and had never thought to try this hotel because it looked to pub like How wrong we were will never stay anywhere else in the area again !!!!!

The ability to treat us and our requirements as individuals and not maintain rigid rules. Our check-in time was brought forward due to a wedding we were attending and the choice of room for a late night return was thoughtful in the extreme.

It gave a nice relaxing few days break.

Me and my father was greated with a friendly smile in a warm welcoming atmosphere. Faye and her staff couldn't of treated us better at dinner and the Portugese red recommend by Faye to compliment the lamb was both divine. After a very comfortable sleep we made our way to beeakfast to find an excelent choice and we both opted for smoked salmon and scrambled eggs which was superb.. If you are ever on the North Norfolk coast and looking for somewhere nice to stay Briarfields is a must..

There isn't nothing not to like

Comfortable rooms, friendly and helpful staff and good food. Very easy parking and easy access to the local bird reserves.

Our only comment was that the room (10) was to light during the night but we understand this is being dealt with.

Our third visit to Briarfields and we will be back--perfect location for us as ornithologists , good food and a comfortable room.

I liked the location, next to RSPB. The staff were very friendly , and the food was exellent.

The room was beautiful, loved the bath and products provided. I wish the room was just a foot wider, did feel a bit like being in a corridor, there are other size rooms

The staff were very friendly, I travel alone when on business this hotel felt very comfortable for a woman on her own. Food was beautiful

Restaurant had a good menu with an interesting sushi starter option. Rooms were clean and well fitted out. Hotel was quiet and in an attractive setting close to the sea.

Service in restaurant was slow, possibly as a result of out of season reduction in staffing levels, but waiting staff didn't appear very focused so some orders were forgotten. Rooms a little on the small side for two people to move around in.

It was clean, all staff were friendly and helpful. Food was of excellent quality and perhaps to plentiful! Lashings of hot water.

The ambiance and food were second to none and staff were readily available and always willing to help. They even let us eat our evening meal outside as it was such a beautiful sunset!

We stayed in the main house and as we were directly above the restaurant area there was a lot of banging and noise as they were locking up for the night. I actually thought someone was trying to break into my room it sounded so close.
