A very enjoyable stay at an excellent hotel. Good food and great staff.
Friendly staff, food amazing. The hotel is very quirky, in a good way, each room has its own character
Attentiveness of staff
Restaurant and staff very good
Comfort, quiet hotel, staff there when needed but not intrusive. Excellent food and value for money. 4th visit. Will go again.
None to report
A great dinner and the staff went out of their way to embarrass me by singing happy birthday. We even had 'Silver Service' at breakfast the next day.
I couldn't fault the place
the staff excellent, the food the same, and made us very welcome, have been before will go again but not too room 7
room no 7 heating full on still cold bathroom freezing and needed updating bed covers heavy and uncomfortable
Stayed overnight to attend a birthday party held in the restaurant. Room well kept and staff lovely. Meal for our party of 24 in restaurant well served and lovely hot food
Lovely room above average facilities lovely and warm
Have ate here several times and stayed overnight twice. Hotel - staff - food - room are all great. You willl no be dissapointed with the location.
Pipes in building very loud especially toilet facilities loud enough to wake you up from another room
Setting is lovely, the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel is well positioned and comfortable. In the restaurant the food service was always friendly and nothing too much trouble. Gluten free alternatives offered at all meals.
The bed not the most comfortable, or quiet. The walls very thin. The restaurant food prices were on the high side although the food was always excellent.
Good quality of food.
Rooms would benefit from redecoration.
Nice location in pretty village
Excellent greeting. Friendly, professional, helpful staff. Both Breakfast and Dinner were excellent. Comfortable rooms. Good parking.
The room over the kitchen. But moved with no problem.
the whole experience the friendly staff home comforts cleanliness of the hotel good prices excellent food
Comfortable bed in spacious room Friendly reception staff Very good Italien waiters in lovely olde world restaurant. Excellent main courses - sea bass and fillet steak. Excellent breakfast Beautiful village setting
Mould in bathroom - room 25, also it needs updating. A light bulb needed replacing. Blankets (lightweight duvets with pure cotton covers, as well as optional blanket, would have been ideal) Poor quality toilet tissue. Due to these issues I felt room was overpriced. Tiramisu and crumble tart were disappointing desserts.
Comfortable old fashioned hotel. Polite and attentive staff. Excellent choice at breakfast. Well positioned for coast and historic sites inland Excellent pub opposite hotel serving very good value and tasty meals.
Decour needs some attention. Room 22 large and quiet but leaking gutter is making wall damp and bathroom has serious mould problem on tile grout and roller blind
Friendly, helpful staff who were always able to assist when needed. First class food sereved in a first class way by trained staff. Room was very good and serviced to a high standard
Not a lot - any complaints were down to small things like a 'mean helping' of ingredients on the tea tray.
Peaceful yet highly accessible location. Pleasant building with comfortable rooms and beds. Good quality food served in comfortable dining room by polite and attentive staff. Excellent value for money with the discount that applied when I stayed.
Nothing was bad, but some small things could be improved e.g. Waiters could ask for a preference of where to sit in dining room; Bathroom could be modernised to feel fresher.
Good evening meals, nice staff
Booked and confirmed with credit card a double room, given a twin because they had double booked ( Given a bottle of wine to make up for their error). Dinner sent back because they had covered it in sauce when requested it without the sauce.Rooms could do with refurbishing and were small for the price.
Location was excellent, including the Pub! Everything we can think of was excellent, staff were very friendly and most helpful. We will most certainly stay with you again.
Really helpful staff
A little expensive
Friendliness; location was superb; good parking; very good breakfast
Wifi chancy - OK when accessible but not reliable Value for money? Just fair - makes this rating from great staff and location
