The decor in the bedroom was pleasant and the bed was quite comfortable. Room at the back of the hotel which meant you couldnt hear the traffic. Really close to the city centre so good value for money.
If you want somewhere to just put your head down for a few hours then this hotel is fine, but I wouldnt stay for a holiday. It seems to be used mainly by business men and trades men. The cleanliness was alright apart from the toothpick on the floor in the bathroom. The decor in the main hotel areas is dark and old fashioned.
Good wifi. 1/2 hour walk to city centre. Close to station. Staff friendly.
A bit dated, needs painting. Shower not very hot in the morning.
good breakfast with good choice
area buses easy to get two staff very helpfull
pillows sink in beedroom no privacy when doing teeth or wash in front of friend
nothing special, working wifi
only late checkin, rather run down location
Small and cozy with friendly staff.
Noisy traffic as we were on the ground floor.
Its a clean simple place with small rooms, if that is all you want. Fairly convenient for the station.
Seems over priced for what you get. Breakfast was extra and payable by cash. Old fashioned décor and nothing but a place to sleep
good breakfasts, free WiFi, not far from the city center
strange door to bathroom, it didn't close well
Handy for railway station and Buses to city centre. Friendly staff. Room was clean although small as most single rooms are.
Location, Staff welcome, comfort and Breakfast
As it was an extremely hot and humid evening it would have been more comfortable with a room fan.
Would have like to have an hair dryer in the room...
Room could be brightened up
Breakfast for 5£ was definitely good enough. Nice staff, laid back atmosphere. Spacious room. Free wifi. Shampoo/gel in bathroom. Reading lights by bed. Considering the price all-in-all good value.
Cramped bathroom. Toilet paper holder in the wrong position. No safety deposit box in the room. Drain was slow. A bit of a long walk into the city center (but not too long, and there are buses). No A/C (depends on season).
Very friendly staff. They really tried to make your stay pleasant (for example making us coffee which we couldnt make in our own room due to our 2-year old sleeping there).
All staffs are friendly
The bathroom is too small and there is a bit of un pleasant smell in the room
I dont like unsolicited emails. Go away
Staff were helpful
Uninspiring rooms, lack of facilities
Friendly, good breakfast
Low water pressure in bathroom made taking a shower difficult - plumbing needs to be improved
1) Located near a mall - so eating out or buying from supermarket is easy. 2) Walkable distance from railway station. 3) Next to a bus stop. 4) Peaceful place
Wooden floor makes noise while walking
Location and friendly staff
Bed was comfortable, twin room was spacious.
Room wasn't especially clean, found cobwebs. WiFi was mythical. Desk wasn't situated so that you could actually use it.
Value for money
Bathroom a bit too cramped. Otherwise everything is ok.
Staff friendly. Bed comfortable and clean. Breakfast good.
Wifi connection worked well in the evening but dropped off and didn't return in the morning.
Friendly and within walking distance of the town centre. Very clean
Bathroom a little small but had everything needed.
