Welcome on arrival. Kindness when one of us was ill.
There was nothing to dislike.
Locality Age of house and the pleasant person who owned B and B
Steep stairs as both if us have knee problems It's England so you have to put up with little things
Great breakfast. Spacious room. Helpful and friendly owners.
I was only there for one night so not a major problem, but the room needed airing. Window didn't open and no fresh-air vent.
Lovely owners, very welcoming even though we arrived really late. Tasty well cooked breakfast. Location great.
had a bit of road noise which woke me up but didn't spoil my stay.
Nice cooked breakfast. Quaint. Good value for money.
Mattress a bit hard
Good breakfast and a lovely double room just for my sole use.
Had trouble connecting to the WiFi - but, granted, I didn't go downstairs to ask for help! I just gave up and dealt with matters when I returned home.
As above nothing positive
The location was good. The lady proprietor, was pleasant, without being over the top. She was friendly to our son who was a late arrival. The room was light and sunny with plenty of storage facilities and a trouser press (useful as we were going to a wedding). Firm and comfortable bed.
Dusty corners, dated bedding and needs re-freshing generally. Small cooked breakfast. Some toast was green at the edges and all very thin bread. Needed to request more breakfast drinks they were not offered.
Tired room Greeting was lukewarm Overpriced. Paid £75, would rate as a £45 hotel.
The Bridge House is wrongly described as a Hotel and should be listed as a BB
Room and bathroom seemed dingy and smelt of drains. No hot water for a bath. Breakfast was mediocre definitely not satisfying.
Advertised as a hotel but it is a b & b so misleading.
A bit pokey and not pristinely clean
Good friendly welcoming staff. En suite shower and breakfast
A little pricey and bed was 2 singles bunched together, creaky floors
Lovely comfy big bed. Nice breakfast.
Being at traffic lights on a busy road although noise level was somewhat minimised by the secondary glazing.
Poor access to and from car park to front door. Only one chair in room.
Nice and clean, good breakfast, great location.
Advertised a license premises but there was no bar
Lady was friendly without being intrusive.Clean well kept room.
Breakfast could be improved with the addition of beans!!
It's location although a reasonable walk to find a restaurant
Over priced , deluxe twin was a joke , cooked breakfast was limited and not great they took my payment without asking me not impressed window in room was permanently locked fire hazard? Would def not stay there again very dissatisfied not like your usual booking .com rooms it was a B and B no restaurant I could go on and on
it was dreary
Room was very cold and was still warmer than the greeting.
Cooked breakfast was ok
Dirty , freezing cold room. On the main road, noisy. Dangerous car park for motorbikes because of gravel 6" deep. Lack of fruit/ yoghurt for breakfast. Expensive for what you got
Located at one end of the High Street with easy access to the town. Queen sized comfortable bed dominated the room, but there was adequate storage for clothes, and tea/coffee facilities. Good cooked breakfast
Really a B&B rather than a Hotel. Small bathroom the width of the shower cubicle, limited parking on site.
