Food - excellent Hotel - very clean

New room were clean bright and very comfortable

Noise from the road

We wanted to stay somewhere near to Birmingham that was clean and friendly, the Bridge House was perfect.

Dinner and breakfast served with a smile and presentation and quality very good. Overall would stay again

Breakfast pastries a bit stale, but perhaps because it wasn't seemingly very busy when I was staying there.

The food was very good and well cooked

Well I guess I was lloking for hotel beside the railway lines . It was my prefered choice as I was able to jump on train in Acock green and go go where I like as hotel is right close to railway station . Guess clear choice for me as I hadnt to use taxis except on arrival from Bermingham Airport . Definitely use again .

Rooms were quiet and warm and not too Hot overnight as I find at some Hotels. Good Parking at rear of Hotel and easy reach of local Rail/Bus Connections.

Hotel was quiet, so Bar remained shut for the two nights I was there. No local Rail/Bus conections to City Centre after 5pm on Sunday's!, the nearest Late Buses pass through Accocks Green Centre which is about 1/2 mile from the Hotel.

Poor service in Restaurant was told I could have any 2 courses for £20. So I ordered 2 items and was told this came £23. I would have to paid the extra. I was offered a drink when I sat down. That was only offer I got of anything additional. Other than what I wanted to eat as my 2 main choices. I waited over hour for my starter to. I specifically asked for a veggie options to be included there were none. I had pre paid for dinner this had not been logged. I was then informed by somebody that I shouldn't order a cab from hotel as they make the drivers put £3 on cab fair which goes back to hotel. I test this information with same cab company same trip exactly twice. Both booking privately one day through hotel the next. Low and behold if it wasn't more expensive booking with hotel. I was told all meals were inclusive on £20 deal then was made to pay the extra. There was nothing in writing on the very limited menu state this. The Wifi was poor and not offered as standard... Upon check in poor considering the UK's biggest internet retailer show was being hosted 10 miles way.

Extremely comfortable beds. Excellent food but service a little slow but staff did apologise so all is ok. Did not hear the road or trains. Will stay again

Friendly staff

Very clean room and lovely food in the restaurant, good value for money and not far to the NEC.

The staff was extremely helpful and efficient. One person was covering bar and resturant in the evening - very hard working and efficient - no waiting, he even gave perfect recommendations on dinner dishes. Dinner was fantastic!

Needs a total refurbishment, Should be called Low Quality hotel instead of Quality hotel. Hasn't had a Lick of paint in 40 years Very expensive for a hotel in such poor condition. Advertises as Quality Hotel Birmingham Airport/NEC despite the fact that it is nowhere near either of these places,and costs £20 in a taxi to get to.(misleading) Would be more suitable as a Hostel for Backpackers except they wouldnt be able to afford it. I prepaid by credit card the charge was taken out of my account twice, It was refunded when I noticed and contacted them. Would never stay there again,and would not recommend anyone else do so.

Location close to NEC. Used this hotel years ago. Breakfast is good.

The web site states that it is 1.4 miles from the airport and motor cycle musiem when it is in fact 6.5miles there for adding £20 in cab fares to my visit. When I question this I was told that it was less than 6.5 miles if I did like the crowd and flew in a straight line. Not very amusing. The room was cold and I don't like hotel staff visiting the room in the evening while I was out.

Cooked breakfast was cooked to order and very good.

The hotel was hard to find, not helped by the fact that all the signage is as Bridge House Hotel, not Quality and people I asked for directions did not recognise the Quality name. It all looked a bit in need of a re-vamp.

An ok budget hotel

The name is very misleading because the hotel is miles from the NEC/Airport. Hard to find because the hotel has a different name & only has a small 'quality hotel' plaque that isn't really visible from the road.

The affordability made me chose it

Staff are not helpful at all. I asked forextra tea bags and sugar as it was freezing cold I wasgoing to do some writing until late in the night. She brought the items and placed them on the floor outside my door, then called me form reception to say your items are outside the door on the floor. I could not believe it when I opened the door and they were literaly on the floor.
