Very good about accommodating young child
Close to the motorway. Although this hotel doesn't look like much from the outside the rooms have been renovated and are good for value for money. Staff are friendly and helpful.
Meal ver poor No steaks! Hair dryer broke TV did not work Poor condition throughout Staff very poor No customer relations
Old Fashioned feel, relaxing feel, not hurried at breakfast or when eating in the restaurant. It was a very nice quiet hotel which made a very stressful time a lot much easier.
Waking up to the workmen outside or trying to relax in the afternoon in your room with them outside, though the hotel staff did say they would speak to them if they caused to much trouble but how do you stop them when you are there for more than 1 day ?
Location was perfect , room was large, free parking on site , close to town for other amenities .....shower was hot
Only cable Internet that was by a desk , and only one cable although there were two of us ! Wifi in the general areas. The lights above the bed did not work and one was taped up with cello tape Decor a bit dated but we were only there one night it did for that.
Comfy bed & good lighting
Very large and quiet room. Great parking space. Close to Gatwick Airport
Difficult to locate. No Wifi in room only in lobby
I love everything about it
I got Room 24, which has no view; but the price was good and the room was clean, comfortable and completely met my needs. Location is brilliant for M25, M23, Gatwick and train to/from Victoria. Staff professional and helpful. Excellent access to Reigate Hill for walkers, joggers etc.
No problem to me but if you do not have a car be prepared to walk about a mile to/from station and town or rely upon surprisinly inadequate local taxi services.
friendliness & efficiency of reception lady, (I think she was the manager).
Excellent value for money, Air con in room, Single room good size, Would stay again.
Was a bit noisey at times
It was right next to the north downs way and we were walking.
Lack of any ambiance.
Friendly helpful staff. Good food, and everything you could need in your room for a comfortable stay.
Bad whether caused leaks in the roof so lots of buckets around collecting water.
All round good value for money
Don't like how one day the price is cheaper then the next time I stay it's gone up. I do understand you have to pay a supplement for week day stays but it you're a frequent stayed maybe you could get charged the same price??? Just an idea
COOKED BREAKFAST WAS THE WORST I HAVE EVER HAD.THEY MUST LOSE MONEY ON THIS IF IT HAD BEEN NICE. WE WOULD OF PAID FOR A BREAKFAST ON THE FOLLOWING MORNING
In need of updating
Staff Location Comfort
Lack of room service after 8.45pm
Special rate was attractive as we were only staying one night.
Reception staff especially Janice who was belligerent in not believing us that we had cancelled the Thursday night booking in very good time - 2 weeks - and insisted in seeing the e-mail from booking.com confirming the cancellation. And of course, no apology. Very poor attitude and I was so relieved that we had our laptop with us as it could have been very unpleasant with Bridge House insisting on charging us £75.00 for the cancelled night. Not a good experience.
Facilities in the room were good.
Piles of laundry stacked in cages and boxes in the main entrance to the rooms. Ladders and decorating equipment left laying around outside balcony.
Dark outlook. Windows need more cleaning. Bathrooms and decorations need updating.
Obvious recent refurbishment, staff were friendly, good location
Cleanliness in bathroom could be improved but nothing dramatic
I have stayed at this hotel before, as it is handy for both my frequent visits to Reigate/Redhill, and the M25, On the previous occasion I stayed here, I found the receptionist brusque to the point of rudeness but on this occasion, when I was travelling with my 90-year old mother, the receptionist (a different one to last time) was charm and helpfulness personified. The rooms were clean and comfortable and, despite the hotel's proximity to Reigate Hill, a busy maib road, it was quiet and peaceful. It took me a while to discover the "hospitality tray", which was hidden away in a drawer - this was not mentioned at reception and neither could I find any reference to it in the "bedside literature" - but when I did locate it (quite by accident), it was better stocked than that of most other hotels. We did not use the restaurant on this occasion as we had dinner and breakfast with friends away from the hotel but I have eaten there on many previous occasions, both whilst staying there as a guest and for dinner as a guest at weddings and other social functions and have always eaten well.
The Bridge Hotel is ideally placed if visiting Reigate. The staff where helpful and friendly.
The fan in our bathroom was quite noisy and did not time out, So we had a continuous hum in the bedroom throughout the night. The Hotel is obviously popular for workman working away from home. We where woken late at night to a lot of shouting and abusive language while they sorted them selves out.
I loved it all
