Bridge of Orchy Hotel  

Arrived early, soaking wet walking West Highland Way. I was shown into residents lounge with roaring fire, waited on very attentively with delicious coffee and a very nice lunch. Great dinner and packed lunch. An oasis of luxury!

Couldn't work shower and sink didn't drain properly. Not problems and I told staff. Felt they would be dealt with.

Great historical facility. Polite and helpful staff.

Bed was in dire need of replacement.

Loved this place - excellent accommodation and wonderful staff.

The location was superb, the real ales in the bar were excellent, the cooked to order breakfast was very good and the food in the restaurant was outstanding.

The water supply system, which was noisy when it worked but then unfortunately broke down whilst we were there. The staff were however excellent and found us alternative accomodation without any fuss.

From the minute we arrived to the minute we left every member of staff was extremely courteous and would go out of their way to accomodate your every need. Having travelled extensively around the uk in the last few years this,sadly this hasn't always been our experience, I hope the management are aware of how wel their staff represent them.

Hotel was lovely and cosy with wood burning stoves in bar and lounge. The menu had many choices and the food was really tasty.The hotel is in a great position for hillwalking and climbing.

The water supply in the morning was a bit intermittent .The shower kept going hot and cold.

The location was superb as we climbed Beinn Dorian, the food was of a great standard and the bed was comfortable

The hotel was set in a very attractive location, however moreso it was clean and very well eqquipped, We had an excellent stay in a very cosy room and also had a very nice meal in the restaurant. The staff were excellent. Overall a 10/10 from me.

The steak is very nice~ I like this warm and romantic hotel.

No signal in room

Excellent, welcoming and friendly staff who always had a smile for you - it costs nothing but makes a world of a difference. The interior design of the hotel is very warm and luxurious and the food was great.

lorries on main road made a bit of noise, but I knew the location so it didnt really bother me

Very friendly and welcoming staff. Log fire in the lounge area was a perfect end to a wonderful evening. Good food and nice wine. Fantastic views and peaceful surroundings.

Everything was fantastic and would most definatly return. If I was to comment on anything at all it would be perhaps to extend the the dinner menu a little. Specials were very good on the night we stayed.

Comfortable and ideally sited for WHW. Restuarant was very good, service and food excellent and fairly priced.

A twin room was booked. On arrival found we were booked into a double. Situation resolved by installing a Z Bed.

When we arrived we were told our room was not booked. The stress this caused really ruined my stay. The room they gave us in the end, had a faulty shower, and really didn't fell as luxurious as all the things I've read about the place said. I was truly disappointed

Everything was just perfect, staff excellent, room with a bath great after a long day walking (west highland way) food fab, will be back and will recommend.

The food was brilliant, the views spectacular and nice large rooms with great showers, though a noise toilet. Easy drive up from glasgow and not far from glen coe and some of the best hillwalking and views. Oh one tip close your curtians on a sunny day you wont want to open the window for the midges

No early check in available. It is a little pricey.

The hotel was clean and a reasonably high level of comfort. The menu was varied and good value for money. The Breakfast was easily the best out of 6 different hotels I stayed in, during the whw.

Our rooms were great. Very cleant and modern

When we arrived there was a problem with the booking. We had booked a twin and were assigned a room with a very small double bed (140cm). When we asked about the twin we had booked were were told that they were very sorry but that they had given the twin room to others who had not yet arrived. The receptionist was very put-out that we did not want the room and asked us what we expected her to do. At a 4 star hotel, we expected the mis-hap to be handled more professionally. In the end we insisted on the twin room and do not know what happened to the other party.

Surroundings matchless.

Paid for a 'suit' but all we had was a sofa next to the bed! Very poor value for the money paid and probably breach of trades description. Room was noisy and sleep disturbed by traffic throughout night. Management refunded £25 in acknowledgement of this. Waited 'ages' for hot water to come through. We are experienced travelers and this room is not worth more than £100 for single night b & B.

There was no hot water in the morning. Haggis neeps and tatties had minimum of haggis.
