Excellent location. Had a room with the view of the bridge which was fantastic and the room was superb. Staff that couldn't be more helpful and were incredibly friendly. Little cafe / tea shop was also a delight. Would and will go back.
Car park is a short walk away, which isn't a problem. Finding it was.
Everything . Very good guest house.
The staff were friendly and the accommodation was excellent
Sound transfer between the rooms
Great views of the bridge. The room was somewhat basic, but had all we needed and was spacious and clean. Staff were excellent, as were the breakfasts in the cafe downstairs. Although parking was offsite, it was only a short walk away and in a locked area, so no problem at all. We had no problem dropping luggage off in front before parking, and were given assistance to take to the room.
Just one small thing, and more of a comment for the management to consider, but the towels could have been better quality...small and seemed a bit old. Otherwise no problems at all.
Comfortable room, friendly staff, great shower, tasty breakfast.
Thin walls between the rooms!
Staff very welcoming and helpful. Beautiful location.
Great view of the bridge, superb breakfasts, friendly and helpful staff. Ideal base for exploring the wealth of interest in this part of the world. Will definitely return!
If we were staying longer maybe a bit more shelf space in bathroom for toiletries etc and possibly consider upgrading to bigger towels, but otherwise perfect
The friendliness of the staff who went that extra mile to help.
The cooked breakfast and the friendly helpful staff
Pulling up on double yellows to unload the car and get the key to the carpark.
We arrived after 8:30pm. We don't carry a phone. Why can't the management e-mail the entry code instructions, the night before? It was easy enough to collar a fellow in the local pub to make a call.
I could not fault anything, one of the nicest places I've stayed. So much so we've booked to go again.
The location of the B&B was excellent, overlooking the Ironbridge. The staff were excellent and the breakfast gorgeous.
Noise from outside at 6am, someone on a walkie talkie and trying to start some kind of machinery.
Everything about this B&B is excellent, location, staff, room and a great breakfast to start the day.
All the staff without exception were very helpful. The quality of the food was such that we did not find it necessary to go elsewhere. Central location made an ideal base. Will definitely return and recommend to everyone.
There was nothing not to like.
We had a lovely nights stay in double room with bridge view. The staff were so polite and helpful. The breckfast was great. We would definitely go back.
The Best B&B I Have stayed in the staff are great with a nice warm welcome the room was clean and a amazing shower and you get a fridge in room with some wine ,water and milk for your coffee & tea with lots of it and a slice of cake you wont get that in the Hotel. A Big Thank You to the Staff you are all great will come again cheers
the Wi-Fi was a bit poor
efficient service, welcoming and polite staff, good view
coffee at breakfast, noise from road during night, car park is inconvenient
Friendly and helpful staff Excellent breakfasts A good 'outdoors sitting area' The 'power shower' Free secure parking (albeit some way from the property) Secure entry system The location
The double bed was too low and too soft and the room was too hot with the window closed; with the window open there was a smell of cooking oil from the kitchen located below
very helpful staff
Very helpful and friendly staff. Having stayed in many international hotels this is an exceptional B&B, with it's standard well above average. I would recommend it to both young and mature guests. My elderly father, 84 years of age found it ideally situated and central to all the shops, restaurants and pubs.
During the weekend if you have a room with a bridge view, and the window is open, some additional noise may be heard for a short period of time from the nearby pub, as guests are returning home at the end of the evening.
We used the guest house to spend a day on the Severn Valley Railway, which was an excellent experience in its own right. The staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. The industrial heritage of the area is outstanding.
Only minor problem is that unloading the car was difficult and parking is some distance away. However, the staff helped and it was easily coped with.
When we discussed the cleaning issues with the staff, they were very quick to rectify the problem and provided clean items quickly and also advised that they had spoken to the cleaner. I would suggest spot checks on the cleanliness of rooms by the management.
The room was not cleaned well as dirty/used cups and glasses were not removed from the room by the cleaner. The bathroom was not cleaned and dirty towels left on the floor were just hung back on the towel rail. The kettle needed washing before use as was dusty. The cleaner only actually made the bed! There was an awful smell in the lobby of the floor we occupied due I think to poor ventilation - perhaps an air freshener and better ventilation could solve this smell as it was very unpleasant. I would only recommend this B&B to friends if the issues stated were resolved fully. This was a 4 star B&B and not cheap so we were surprised that there were any issues.
Well looked after and nothing was too much trouble
location - friendly staff -breakfasts. welcome baskets of rerfreshments
bed too low - lack of second chair in large room
Warm welcome Fantastic 'Darby' room and veiws with a good complimentry bar Wonderful breakfast Extreemly helpful staff
WiFi was a bit hit and miss due to the location in the valley.
