Great location near the old railway cafe museum. The magistrates room had a very comfortable bed but the room opened almost not the dining room.
The taps in the en suite made extremely loud noises when turning them on. Breakfast was between a limited hours of 8-8.30 The owner was quite abrupt to other guests in the morning when they were nearer 8.30 coming for breakfast.
Inflexible breakfast period rigid and short timescale suits the owner and not folks on a holiday break a great pity as this dragged down an otherwise high mark
host, location and good breakfast
Host was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good. Location also good, easy to park on road and walk 5 mins to a load of pubs.
Everything was good enough but surprised it has such a high rating (9.2 at time of writing)
keith the host.breakfast.bedroom.location.
nothing not to like.
Position of Bridge View in Betsw Y Coed is very good with only a 5 minute walk to shops, restaurants, etc; rooms are clean if decorated a bit "fussy". Car parking just outside on the road.
You have to give breakfast choice the night before despite only being a 3 room b&b. Both days very poor quality with sausage being cheap, nasty, pink and inedible; bacon dry and very hard, poor quality bread. Owner displayed signs of unhappiness because we could not eat his food. He also said he was unwell but this should not have impacted on his manner or the produce he provided.
Location was excellent away from the busy main street. Lovely sitting room overlooking the river. Host very welcoming and knows the area v well. He leaves glasses etc out should you wish to bring your own beverage in. Gorgeous bed in the judges room.
Sausage aren't local Keith! But I am being v picky here.
Everything about this place from the B&B to the surrounding area cannot be faulted. Met all our requirements and particularly enjoyed the friendly atmosphere, the freedom to come and go.... and of course the breakfast!
Very helpful host, Keith was very knowledgeable about activities in Betws-y-coed as well as made some great suggestions on places to eat. We stayed in the Judges room, the king sized bed was very spacious and comfortable and the room had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. A full english breakfast was offered in the morning's which was delicious, though a smaller breakfast was also offered which we took advantage of on the second day, as it was very filing!
Charming B & B and welcoming host. Very good location due to closeness to village center but still quiet with a good night sleep.
Really clean and quiet B&B which was very relaxing. The host, Keith, is very friendly and makes you feel really welcome and has a good knowledge of the local area. Breakfast was good as well as the central location which benefitted us as we came by train and it is next to the station.
Absolutely everything from start to finish. Quality ensured.
Great food Great comfortable beds Very clean throughout Very friendly owner
Had to pre order breakfast day b4
Off main drag, nice sitting area & good breakfast choices.
Limited breakfast time (posted 8:15-8:30am) & WiFi very weak.
Everywhere was full of interesting and amusing knick knacks from the little "mousehole" by the Judges room to the wonderful prints and place mats by Simon Drew. Keith is an excellent and knowledgeable host, one of the nicest people I've met.
Nothing to dislike, even the weather was good.
Excellent breakfast and friendly host.
Large bed Friendly & funny decore
No offstreet parking
The warmth and helpfulness of the Host.
Ideal centre for touring the area. Right in Betws-y coed but on a side road. View of the river outside the window. Interesting old building. Good host with a great sense of humour. Sorry to leave after a week.
Warm welcome on arrival with tea or coffe in the "river watch" room. Very comfortable, clean room overlooking the river in a relaxing and tranquil setting. Lashing of hot water for showers. Hearty breakfast!! Host has excellent knowledge of local walks and places of interest to visit in the area (also a well honed sense of humor). Excellent value for money and well worth a return visit.
Absolutely nothing at all!!
Bridge view was set in an ideal quiet location with lovely views and yet only minutes from the village. The jury room is quaint and comfortable with a excellant bathroom with a lovely big shower. Keith was a character and very attentive. We would definately be returning as we had a lovely relaxing break.
Nothing everything was perfect.
Keith was very nice, and we were greeted with a lovely cuppa! We would return, as we were very happy with our stay. Next time, we will request a room with a bath.
Clean, good location, easy parking, helpful owner.
Dated decor, cramped en-suite, poor quality breakfast.
