Enjoyed our weekend . Would go back again . Lovely couple, lovely area, lovely place.
The hosts Breakfast lovley Peaceful location Good sleep nice bed and pillows Nice tv and wifi
Still needs rooms updating but am told this is on the list to do
The breakfast was really good, Lindsay went to great pains to ensure we had what we enjoyed. The bedding was pure white as were the towels and the room had a lovely view of the garden.
The top step on the staircase up to the first floor is crescent shaped and the light wasnt on, and I missed my step falling heavy on my knees. The light should be on at all times.
The breakfast was amazing. The peacefulness was wonderful. The area was so beautiful. The room we had was spacious. The owners were really nice and welcoming and very caring. The breakfast was really good and kept you going for a long time. We had a marvellous holiday and would definitely be going back.
Could have had new form each day just in case you wanted something to change in your breakfast choice, asked upon arrival what you wanted and that remained the same every day. Everything was delicious though ! Noticed some dust and a few cobwebs if I wanted to be really picky, but it was just like home from home !
Location, perfect to get to several areas of interest.
Friendly owners, classic comfortable cotswold accomodation, good substantial breakfast. Positioned for walks and exploration of the area and good range of good quality eating places near by.
Owners were very engaging and helpful Good breakfast Location Value for money
Shower and bathroom Ergonomics of the bedroom
Ron and Lindsey were excellent hosts. Lindsey cooks a first-class breakfast.....I even got soft-fried eggs, as requested. Great location for the village centre and for local walks.
Hosts were friendly, helpful and welcoming, couldn't do enough for you. The room was really lovely, the beds were super comfy (memory foam mattresses!). I really couldn't fault the place.
Excellent breakfast, comfortable property
En suite small, a bit like an obstacle course to get around shower cubicle, Luke warm shower
Friendly owners of a lovely place located just where I needed to be close to Pickering.
Bridgefoot House was a lovely place to stay, Nothing was too much trouble for Ron who greeted us every morning with a cheery smile and made sure we were ok. The cooked breakfast was delicious and sourced locally and if you didn't want a traditional English there were lots of other things cereals, fruit, yogurt or you could have all. Our rooms was comfortable and overlooked the lovely gardens all in all a wonderful 5 day stay and would definately stay there again when visiting family in Pickering.
Perfectly situated for anywhere in the North Yorkshire Moors.
Everything very warm welcome, service second to none, hosts very helpful and go that extra mile to make your stay rememberable and nothing to much trouble. Special touches to make your stay that much better.
The three stars given to BridgeFoot House it deserves five stars just for the service alone!
Proximity to restaurants, shops, walks. Friendliness of the owners. Lovely breakfasts Pretty room overlooking the garden
The bathroom needs updating but as the owners only took over in may, I am sure this will be done
We stayed for 2 nights and had a womderful time. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The shower was refreshingly warm , the television appreciated, once we got it going as its an old model with an on/ off switch!!! The breakfast was delicious and prepared freshly just for you. The location is divine in a beautiful village with a babbling brook next to the guest house. The owners made us feel very welcome and the banter at breakfast was enjoyable. Typically yorkshire/Irish !
The attentiveness of the owners
Friendly owner, delicious cooked English breakfast.
Our room was rather small.
friendly and cheerful hosts, lovely location with beautiful garden. characterful dining room, owners dog very sweet and playful!
room needed updating, shower not working properly, would be nice to have a little lounge or snug for guests. Also would be nice to have the provenance of the breakfast on the menu eg were the eggs/sausages/bacon free range?
Welcoming, clean, comfortable, good location and good breakfast!!! Just a really nice place to stay.
No shower only a bath, not a major issue though.
Location, cleanliness and welcoming.
En suite was very disappointing. Wholly impractical design. Very poor shower power
Lovely location and very friendly hosts. Super breakfast.
The general peace and quiet of Bridgefoot and the surrounding area.
Having to leave!!
friendly, helpful staff. cleanliness of the guest house was first class.
The breakfast/dining room was very pleasant with a nice view of the garden. The breakfast was very good. The hosts were extremely pleasant, very friendly.
I was in a double room for one person. I found the room very dark as it faced a brick wall of the house opposite. It wasn't a room I wanted to spend time in except watching TV - the football was on. The 'en-suite' was very, very small and more like a cupboard without a sink which was in the bedroom. The towels provided were very small so take your own. There was a notice saying you could not drink alcohol in your room. I have never come across this before and couldn't understand why. Parking was difficult.
