Great host, hearty breakfast, good clean honest b&b would recommend to anyone that needs a base for visiting surrounding areas.
The village location and surrounding countryside.
One had to decide from a breakfast menu on arrival. This decision meant you got the same breakfast every day.
Location Comfortable room Lovely breakfast Excellent hosts
Very friendly and helpful. Excellent value. Deserves its high quality rating.
On arrival we were met with a smile and a warm greeting! Our room was very clean and comfortable. Both slept like logs. Breakfasts really set you up for the day. Lovely location and we will highly recommend Bridgefoot Guest House to friends and family. We will be back. Thanks to Ron and Lindsey.
The proximity of the house to the village. There was information about the local area and walks. We were able to come and go without restriction. The fasilities were good and the host gave me headache pills when I was unwel. We were comfortable and well looked after.
The breakfast menu was restrictive for vegetarians and had to be decided well in advance. The water pressure was low when we stayed. We were closer to the main road through the village than I had expected.
Helpful, friendly hosts.Beautifully cooked breakfasts in a bright, pleasant dining room. 100 yards to charming village and local pubs for evening meals.
Warmth on arriving Really Good food Comfortable bed Tea-making facilities We are likely to come again
Wall between us & next room definitely not sound-proof.
Enjoyed our weekend . Would go back again . Lovely couple, lovely area, lovely place.
The hosts Breakfast lovley Peaceful location Good sleep nice bed and pillows Nice tv and wifi
Still needs rooms updating but am told this is on the list to do
The breakfast was really good, Lindsay went to great pains to ensure we had what we enjoyed. The bedding was pure white as were the towels and the room had a lovely view of the garden.
The top step on the staircase up to the first floor is crescent shaped and the light wasnt on, and I missed my step falling heavy on my knees. The light should be on at all times.
The breakfast was amazing. The peacefulness was wonderful. The area was so beautiful. The room we had was spacious. The owners were really nice and welcoming and very caring. The breakfast was really good and kept you going for a long time. We had a marvellous holiday and would definitely be going back.
Could have had new form each day just in case you wanted something to change in your breakfast choice, asked upon arrival what you wanted and that remained the same every day. Everything was delicious though ! Noticed some dust and a few cobwebs if I wanted to be really picky, but it was just like home from home !
Location, perfect to get to several areas of interest.
Friendly owners, classic comfortable cotswold accomodation, good substantial breakfast. Positioned for walks and exploration of the area and good range of good quality eating places near by.
Owners were very engaging and helpful Good breakfast Location Value for money
Shower and bathroom Ergonomics of the bedroom
Ron and Lindsey were excellent hosts. Lindsey cooks a first-class breakfast.....I even got soft-fried eggs, as requested. Great location for the village centre and for local walks.
Hosts were friendly, helpful and welcoming, couldn't do enough for you. The room was really lovely, the beds were super comfy (memory foam mattresses!). I really couldn't fault the place.
Excellent breakfast, comfortable property
En suite small, a bit like an obstacle course to get around shower cubicle, Luke warm shower
Friendly owners of a lovely place located just where I needed to be close to Pickering.
Bridgefoot House was a lovely place to stay, Nothing was too much trouble for Ron who greeted us every morning with a cheery smile and made sure we were ok. The cooked breakfast was delicious and sourced locally and if you didn't want a traditional English there were lots of other things cereals, fruit, yogurt or you could have all. Our rooms was comfortable and overlooked the lovely gardens all in all a wonderful 5 day stay and would definately stay there again when visiting family in Pickering.
Perfectly situated for anywhere in the North Yorkshire Moors.
Everything very warm welcome, service second to none, hosts very helpful and go that extra mile to make your stay rememberable and nothing to much trouble. Special touches to make your stay that much better.
The three stars given to BridgeFoot House it deserves five stars just for the service alone!
Proximity to restaurants, shops, walks. Friendliness of the owners. Lovely breakfasts Pretty room overlooking the garden
The bathroom needs updating but as the owners only took over in may, I am sure this will be done
We stayed for 2 nights and had a womderful time. The room was very comfortable and quiet. The shower was refreshingly warm , the television appreciated, once we got it going as its an old model with an on/ off switch!!! The breakfast was delicious and prepared freshly just for you. The location is divine in a beautiful village with a babbling brook next to the guest house. The owners made us feel very welcome and the banter at breakfast was enjoyable. Typically yorkshire/Irish !
