It was a bit run down!
We stayed at the Bridge Inn as it was only a mile away from Yatton train station. We were able to conveniently get into Bristol for shopping and drinks. We also ate at the Bridge Inn, it was good food and value for money. On the Friday and Saturday night there was some Christmas parties but we couldn't hear a thing in our room. The bed was comfy, bathroom was excellent and the shower had good water pressure. Would highly recommend staying here for the location and value for money.
Parking available and friendly helpful receptionist. Lovely room, warm and clean with bath and shower
Nothing it was perfect
comfortable beds. just acceptable for a quick overnight stay but wouldnt want to stay longer.
breakfast was cold, only given 1 mushroom and 1/2 a tomato with the bacon, all were cold. rooms very tired looking as was rest of hotel.
Everything really,I was playing football in Bridgwater that weekend and instead of travelling back to oxford booked in with my wife for a night away from the kids. The room was excellent,as was the food and service in the restaurant, and so was the bar!A nice cooked breakfast in the morning set us up for the trip home.Would definatley stay again, thought the value for money was excellent.
We didn't like the hotels new policy with regards to dogs. We booked the room as we were travelling to a dog show and so wanted a dog friendly stop over. Sadly the hotel changed its policy 1 week before we were due to travel and so was too late to find somewhere else.
The price and location Restaurant menu very good
Room was dated and dusty Bathroom mouldy
Customer service. Value for money and the quality of food for that money. Barbara the receptionist was very kind and really caring. When we could not get a taxi in the rural area, she offered to drop us to our venue so that we could make the party.
The room was decorated nicely and spacious the hot water was hot!
The shower curtain was mouldy and smelt of smoke, this made the whole room smell.
The bar had a great choice of food. Staff were very friendly.
beds comfy room clean helpful staff
painted tiles around bath
Not very welcoming awlful smell as we entered the reception. The room was not clean windows were dirty the shower was mouldy carpet badly stained decor needed updating and very smelly !
Great room with all home comforts. The Hungry Horse is a convenient walk through the lodge. Overall excellent value for money.
A member of staff locked the door behind me at 19:00, directly after I walked out the door. This was shortly after I was advised the door is not locked until 23:00.
The bed was good and the food was spot on
The drain in the sink smelt bad
The room was lovely, very comfortable.
Too far from Bristol airport as we read somewhere it was only 20 minutes away. It took us a good 40 minutes to reach the airport.
Flexibility on breakfast menu. Thanks On the whole reasonable. thanks
Wi Fi was only in the restaurant, which was a bit of a pain. Tables were a bit slow to be xleared in the restaurant. Shower area in room was a bit mouldy!
Price, a reduced price
Looked very rough around the edges
The room was filthy cobwebs, black mould on the ceilings in the main room and around the bath. I had a poor meal in the resturant. Stay away!!!
Really good staff Quiet location
Bedroom facilities really poor: - no shampoo/shower gel - no hand basin plug - only 1 power point so it was TV or laptop or charge my phone - one at a time!
Food was very good Breakfast was good Big clean room with comfy bed
No real problems for the area and price its good value
staff were very friendly and helpful. Bed was clean and comfortable, good breakfast but prebook.
bathroom was a little tired but did have a brand new shower curtain
I liked the quietness of the place. Considering we had a noisy room on the main road in Bristol in the previous night, we were really happy to have stayed peacefully with no noise or interference around. I liked the room as well and it seemed fairly clean with decent facilities.
Only thing we were missing is the internet connection. I know for some people or sometimes it is not important to have one but this time I had to still study during my time and I find it hard to not have a connection in the room that we were staying. It could have made my life more easier if there was a connection in my room.
Comfortable bed Nice clean towels and bedding Handy for the airport,
Room was cold. Had to ask for a heater, but this was brought to us immediately. Room spacious, but needs decorating (this is not me being fussy) Could be a lovely room. I didn't feel my meal was worth the money. Ok if you go weekdays and get the offers. No offers on Saturday.
Just needs a little face lift
