Unfortunately it is difficult to answer this as the room we stayed in was a death trap. Our bathroom was flooded due to a leak from an upstairs room, which had clearly been an issue for a prolonged period of time from the state of the ceiling which was black over a space of approx 1 sq metre and looked unsafe. There was water dripping from the electric box connected to the extractor fan which was a clear fire hazard. Had there been a fire, our exit via the door to the room would have been blocked. We could not have escaped through the windows as they were locked with no key available.

Staff were great. All that needs to happening is a bit more cleaning, carpets, curtains. Bed sheets were fine. I habve stayed three times now, in three different rooms, all the bathrooms need uplifting as they all are showing wear and tear.

Nice friendly place close to family. It is a really nice place but the room we had could use a bit of tlc, could be not the season yet. Two pillows per person would be really good.

The location and the reasonable price of the room. I would not have breakfast if I were to stay again. The under cooked, greasy breakfast.

It was conveniently positioned for us; we were made most welcome by attentive but unobtrusive staff who were poite and friendly. Accommodation was basic but clean and comfortable. Dining was good pub type grub well presented and offered a good selection and range of dishes to suit taste and budget. Altogether a very pleasurable stay and we are recommending it to guests at a forthcoming Christening. The farmyard smell was a reminder of its rural location!

Good location for the party at Plantation Restaurant and Clevedon No reception. Checked in and requested staff member to book a taxi for the evening, which probably didn't happen as it didn't turn up. Another member of staff who came on to the reception in the evening booked another one for us. Carpet in room needed a good clean (dropped earing back and almost afiled to find it amongst the crisps and debris from previous guests). Light bulb out on one side of dressing table. Previous stay was much better. It's gone downhill.

Tea and coffee in the room. Warm and comfortable. Tired bathroom - dirty behind the door. System for charging for bar needs tightening - error on bill until checked and agreed.

We were staying overnight for a flight from Bristol. Location close, fab room, warm and spacious. Staff were friendly and helpful, Ideal for families as pub has play zone. That check out is 10am and that is too early unless you have an early flight to catch!

Had to go into the bar to check in because reception not open (6pm) and had to wait until a waitress decided to help me. Breakfast - no cutlery set out on table, choice poor and one waitress laughing a joking with a group of men.

Good position, just off m5. All facilities available if you want them - or you can just have room-only. Staff were friendly. We also saw family friendly rooms with cots and extra beds for children. Excellent for a base to visit family or for an overnight stop whilst in transit to / from the south west. Everything is serviceable, good clean towels and comfy beds but the hotel had a slightly run-down feeling . For example - grouting around the bath was black and cracked - light shades with cobwebs.
