“Room was on a tilt but clean and comfortable Staff friendly good value for money”
Liam,
Dublin
The Bridge of Tilt Hotel is a former hunting lodge which borders the River Tilt and the pretty village of Blair Atholl. Here you can be sure of a warm Highland welcome from our General Manager and staff. The hotel features a lovely bar lounge with open fire, a spacious dining room and a dance floor where entertainment is regularly featured. Also, in a converted mill on the hotel grounds, the Roundhouse pub is popular with both visitors and locals alike. Totally non-smoking hotel. All 28 bedrooms have private bathrooms and feature color tv, telephone and tea and coffee making facilities. Although there is no elevator, first floor bedrooms are available upon request. Hotel Rooms: 28, Hotel Chain: Grand UK Hotels. Most recent booking for this hotel was today at 08:03 from United Kingdom.

I paid £80 via Booking .com for one night at this hotel as I was going to a wedding and there is little accommodation in the area. The hotel was dreadful - beds as narrow as an ironing board, poor heating, not so much as a packet of biscuits in the room, no mirrors located in such a way that you could actually see yourself to put make-up on, dated decor, breakfast ended at 0930 hrs on a sunday morning.... I am embarrised that hotels like this still exist in this country, it is caught in a time warp of complacency and lack of customer care, and I cannot believe Booking .com charged me £80 for this miserable dump.

Price, location, good hot food with no skimping, friendly staff. The room was shabby, badly in need of decoration & new furnishings. Poor lighting, dud bulb not replaced, tatty old television with only 2 channels and an internal loop aerial which caised picture degradation if I moved. Very creaky floorboards which moved when the person next door moved about!! Decrepid door with a big gap and a lock which hardly held and was very insecure. Front exterior badly in need of redecoration with crumbling woodwork. Otherwise good value!

I was pleased to find that there was no problem abou t my dog coming into the room overnight with me as so often one finds that one cannot obtain B&B in Scottish hotels because one has a dog

The hotel is very dated ,but we had an excellent stay ,the staff were brilliant and nothing was too much trouble , I think its time for the hotel owners to upgrade the place as the staff worked really hard ,and deserve a place to be proud of . Nothing really just needs re vamping.

Close proximity to the Highlands and lovely villages There was no towel rail in the bathromm so had to dry towels over a bedroom chair. We felt that the breakfast was pushed in front of you so the staff could clear away quickly. Some overseas tourists were a bit perplexed about this this. The bar meal menu could do with some variation over a week.Whilst we were there there was only one addition on the final night of our stay. However the bar meals were value for money.

I liked the comfort of the hotel. It was raining very hard, but the hotel was lovely and warm without being stifling. Staff were a bit grumpy.

The Bridge of Tilt was a great place to stay in this area. It is close to the distilleries, close to Blair Atholl Castle (what a wonderful tour and the gardens are set up for forest walks, playgrounds, animals to see, etc). This hotel is easy to find. Our ensuite triple room was spacious and quiet. The free parking out front was easy to use and our breakfast the next morning was excellent. This hotel is a nice spot in the countryside area yet close to other small towns. It is worth a stop! We would stay here again without any hesitation. The staff is friendly as well.

We stayed there for a family wedding which was at Blair Castle . The location was perfect for our overnight stay. The only thing I would say is that it is in need of updating.

Excellent location in beautiful surroundings. Good convenient car parking facilities. Reasonable breakfast. Friendly, welcoming and efficient staff. Hotel is in desparate need of renovation to the point of being shabby. Have a "no pet" policy and do not uphold it.
