We arrived late at night - the lone receptionist/barman could not have been more helpful. The location is great for visiting my family and there is plenty of parking. This is not really a dislike but the decorations are awful - there are stripes, solids, checks and flower patterns all mixed up together. The interior designer must have been blind. |

The service - people - bar, restaurant and reception were all very helpful and dealt admirably with a running cistern and non-flushing toilet at 3 a.m. They fixed the problem, but also brought a key card for a neighbouring room so that we could use that bathroom in the event of a recurrence in the morning, We appreciated this foresight. The food (bar and restaurant) was surprisingly good for this type of hotel. The room and the bed were comfortable. The location. We were there for a funeral and it was fine for that or a business trip. It is very near several busy roads and motorways, but did not seem to be near anywhere else if on foot. It is good for an event where you do not wish to leave the hotel itself. |

Waitress staff v nice and friendly as were all the staff came into contact with. This hotel is very nice but the price of dinner is exhorbitant - mainly because there is nowhere nearby- the cost of the hotel meals make it worthwhile going elsewhere. |

The staff were very helpful dealing with a problem with our rooms. Through Booking Com we booked 4 twin rooms but when we got to the hotel only double rooms were available. The staff were able to organise 2 twin rooms for us by moving people around. |

Friendliness and professionalism of staff a credit to the Management. Particularly the restraunt area Monika Ciesiclsca I believe was in charge, but the staff who we dealt with Stephanie and Natasha a credit to an area which required a good attitude to the task - they all had it. Cleaning of spa area leaves a lot to be desired. Men's toilet is in urgent need of attention. Cleanliness of locker room area is poor. Does it need three on the front desk - should someone be walking the job? |

The hotel is nicely laid out and has nice woodland surroundings. It is very well stocked with leisure facilities with gym, pool and spa, although the jacuzzi was broken throughout our stay. The food was acceptable, fairly expensive but quality to match, i would recommend the sea bass. The tv's in the room i had were poor, some of the hotel seems a bit dated, but still in good condition so it may just be a taste thing, and you had to reserve a table for dinner even though there was only 2 people in the restaurant, the bar had one member of staff who constantly disappeared so it was hard to get a drink, and the wine was massively overpriced, for 2 beers and 2 glasses of wine cost £22. The beer was £3.50 a pint, making a glass of wine £7.50 each!!! |

the quietness and cleanliness was very good Some of the staff think they 6 star but in reallity they struggle to achieve 3. I could not make breakfast on my last day and they arranged a pck lunch for me, the sandwiches were very meagre and pitiful. |

Quiet. Nice public areas. Food was poor - unimaginative, overpriced, and in one case appeared to be frozen pastry not all that well re-heated. |

We were forgotten about in the restaurant, waited 20mins to have our order taken and 45mins before getting a drink, asked for a jug of water and never received it. Very noisy wedding party in that weekend. |
