Comfortable room and bathroom 1. Room either too hot (with heating turned off) with the window closed - or too noisy (traffic noise) with the window open 2. Breakfast poor - good selection, but everything had been sitting keeping warm for far too long. Scrambled eggs in particular suffered from this.

The first impression was great especially the friendly and welcoming attitude of their staff, this was first class. The decor was very well thought through and the colour coding was very good on the eyes and therefore was very reassuring that about the service I could expect to receive. The atmosphere and the surroundings of the hotel was very peaceful and away from the usual hassle of the city. The facilities were also very user friendly which made my stay that all the more relaxing i.e. the labelling of the room telephone for the different facilities was unusual but most helpful. My only issue is with the water system especially when using the toilet late in the night as the cistern made loud and annoying noises when filling up the WC.

Good location for Chatham Dockyard, Rochester and Bluewater. Really nice staff , good parking and not a bad breakfast. Clean room Hotel a little tired - also didn't like the spare under bed mattress being visable and a bit grubby. Shower starved of water early morning whilst hotel full. Also the bed a bit hard and quilt too small !!!!

Reception very attentive and friendly. Rooms and corridors tending towards tired decoration. Room on same standard as premiere lodge or travel lodge type accommodation. Good parking and close links to London via M2. Gym and swimming facility again warm welcome by staff. Gym room compact. Swimming pool small. Overall good value.

My wife and I booked a 3 night stay at the Bridgewood Manor as a central locaton for a 4 day Kent break and were very impressed with the hotel. The staff were friendly and attentive and ensured we knew where everything was located within the hotel. We used the pool and steam room and found all areas extremely well kept and clean. The choice at breakfast was excellent with the hot options well cooked and staff very helpful. The room was spacious and the superking sized bed seemed a luxury (slightly firm for my taste but was fine the second night onwards). We visited London one of our days, travelling by train (45mins) when staff were only too pleased to find train times for us and we were able to book a taxi to the station on the free phone at reception. I would certainly recommend this hotel as a good central location as we visited Dickens World & Historic Docks, Designer Outlet, Margate and London

the staff were very friendly and ready to help the sofa in the foyer which is tight up against the wall[near the main exit] with a dado rail just at head height. My wife sat down and slumped back and banged her head badly [I wished I got it on video] thankfully she was ok . but it seems that other guest may have done the same. No harm done though.

Good size room, easy parking. Restaurant food, poor either cold or seemed pre-cooked and dry. Expensive for the quality. Extactor not working in bathroom, towels smelled of fish and chips.

Hotel decor was good everywhere. All staff encountered were friendly and helpful. Room was comfortable and had almost all that we needed. Pool, sauna and steam room were an added bonus. We didn't have dinner in the hotel so can't comment there, but the breakfast was very good. Only thing that was missing from the room were bath robes which I think should be a must in any hotel room!

For us it was the convenience of being close to friends and ideal because of the price package we used through booking.com. The noise from other residents in the corridor is not very nice and something is needed to improve the noise factor, other than that we enjoyed our stay.

The staff were genuinely polite and helpful which, to me, is indicative of sound investment in customer relations training. The room was clean and comfortable. The food (breakfast) standard/service was very good. It was an overall good hotel experience. Sadly, an otherwise good stay was spoiled by the hotel's overly loud and intrusive background modern pop music . It did not make for a relaxing environment in the bar/breakfast room and caused us to retire from the bar earlier than we wanted. If background music has to be played then it should be low volume and of the soft/easy listening type.

When I booked online I requested a bottle of wine to be in the room chilled on arrival for us as I was taking my husband away for his birthday so thought it would be a nice surprise. On check in as we were both there I couldn't mention it to the receptionist however it seems I was the only person to be surprised as nothing was in the room when we arrived. Shame. There seemed to be some confusion on the part of the receptionist re our booking when we got there, some admin thing, so no idea whether our wine turned up in someone else's room or not! It was in the comments on the online booking but obviously not picked up by hotel staff. I didn't complain at the time as it didn't seem necessary, it just would have been a 'nice to have' instead of a need. However, the hotel missed out on the sale of an extra bottle of wine that day due to this inattention. On arrival, we ordered room service and were pleased with the food however, I had requested rose wine with the meal and instead got red. Didn't drink all of it as it wasn't what we chose however, again I didn't feel the need to complain at the time or ask for it to be changed as we'd travelled quite a distance to get there and were just pleased to be eating in our room soon after arrival. Here seemed a better place to bring it up since you've emailed me to request feedback!

We found all the staff very obliging, friendly and always smiling, even under pressure. a bit difficult to find due to the numerous one way road systems. A navigational aid does help.

Was very 'open plan' in feel and nicely decorated. Our room was 'on the system' as showing clean and ready but when we got there it wasn't ready. After an apology we were given another room that door wouldn't lock. So maintenance was called. My wife suffers from me and found our arrival very stressful and tiring. The staff were very polite and apologetic but it didn't make a good first impression.

Staff were enthusiastic and friendly, rooms and facilities were great, breakfast range was broad. The hotel had workmen in pn 2 out of 3 of our days there. When we were hoping for a relaxing afternoon we couldn't get into our room because they were doing maintenance work the following day it was too noisy to stay in, we had to find another area of the hotel to sit in.

The staff were very helpful and friendly. Cath (I think) behind the bar is very friendly and the receptionist brought an iron and board to me within minutes of requesting it. It seemed as though they've made a few improvements since the last time I stayed. I would prefer a duvet on the bed to sheets, beds are not overly comfortable and the pillows aren't very good quality. Food is overpriced for the quality.
