Everything about the property - garden furniture, breakfast, ambience, excellent bedroom and bathroom. A delight.
We enjoyed the walk from the town centre but I suppose some guests would find this a little inconvenient.
The property is advertised as 2 miles from Grange over Sands. However this is across an estuary with access ONLY by RAIL. It is 15 miles by road.
Being made to feel more like an invited guest than a customer; the extra touches; friendly conversation and interest in what we were up to; freedom to come and go as we wished and benefitting from the hosts' local knowledge. Needing an earlier breakfast to "walk across the bay" on the Sat, we were made to feel this was genuinely not an issue- and the breakfast itself is superb.
I found the pillows a bit lumpy so didn't sleep so well - but may just have been me as I get neck trouble- or the humid weather?
Warm, welcoming hosts. Spacious room. Separate bath and shower. Shared breakfast table with other guests. Comfortable bed.
All good. Can't fault it.
The owners were so helpful and friendly. They put themselves out and offered to do extra things to make our stay enjoyable. The house is lovely and it was so relaxing sitting in the conservatory.
Can't think of anything.
Extremely welcoming hosts made for a very enjoyable stay. Thank you, Stuart and Ineke.
Hot water ran out whilst showering.
The arts and crafts style is well preserved, and great for making us feel in a lovely home. excellent food, comfy bed, plenty of hot water and great peace and quiet. Lovely to get away from the business of work
The house is lovely and true to its style, the use of the conservatory was great, the breakfast with home made breads and jams was delicious, the hosts were welcoming friendly and accommodating - really nice people, the bed was comfortable, and the location is good.
We liked everything about our stay.A perfect break. House Beautiful, room very comfortable, large bed, beautiful bathroom & shower. Breakfast couldnt have been better. A fabulous choice. Nothing was too much trouble. The owners were charming

Friendly and helpful hosts Comfortable room Conservatory lounge for guests' use Excellent breakfast with homemade bread and jam Quiet spot
The friendliness and openness of our hosts. We were made to feel really welcome from the start. It was good to have very clear directions to get to Bridleway. Great breakfasts and a beautiful conservatory to sit in.
The access and parking was a little tricky
Bridleway is an excellent location from which to explore the Lake District National Park. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable and our hosts could not be more helpful. Our breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. We would be happy to use Bridleway again in the future.
