Being made to feel more like an invited guest than a customer; the extra touches; friendly conversation and interest in what we were up to; freedom to come and go as we wished and benefitting from the hosts' local knowledge. Needing an earlier breakfast to "walk across the bay" on the Sat, we were made to feel this was genuinely not an issue- and the breakfast itself is superb.

I found the pillows a bit lumpy so didn't sleep so well - but may just have been me as I get neck trouble- or the humid weather?

The owners were so helpful and friendly. They put themselves out and offered to do extra things to make our stay enjoyable. The house is lovely and it was so relaxing sitting in the conservatory.

    Can't think of anything.

The friendliness and openness of our hosts. We were made to feel really welcome from the start. It was good to have very clear directions to get to Bridleway. Great breakfasts and a beautiful conservatory to sit in.

The access and parking was a little tricky

Bridleway is an excellent location from which to explore the Lake District National Park. Our accommodation was clean and comfortable and our hosts could not be more helpful. Our breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day. We would be happy to use Bridleway again in the future.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bridleway. The owners were very friendly and helpful...little touches like a train timetable, and allowing some friends to visit us and join us for drinks in their garden. Would definitely recommend.

Everything was good really, although the bathroom was on the small side, but adequate for our needs.
