Very small shower space.
Closeness to all amenities
The car parking
Location - in the heart of Kemp Town Value - good price for a single with en suite
Single room is very small
no hot water for shower
location was central i.e. right in the heart of everything that was happening, and cost was on the nail.
A bit noisy but hey, I took some ear plugs so not a problem for me.
Very close to seafront
Not enough coffee and no facilities for breakfast
value for money and location
room small for three adults
It smell very bad , the staff dont know how to deal with coustomers ,the whole thing is so bad
no towel rail and nowhere to put soap in the shower.
Bed was comfy.
No wifi and hardly any signal either. Didn't do breakfast but didn't offer biscuits with the tea/coffee either TV signal terrible, could hardly watch any channel. Was told that it was a antenna problem because it was windy (it was a sunny, non breezy day) and there was nothing that could be done to fix the problem.
the room was clean, had coffee and tea pleasant street, the price was suitable (35 pounds). my room was quiet - to a back yard. it was Ok but minimalistic
the room was tiny, the size of a single bed and a little space to walk around. although very clean, there was no picture or anything pleasant. it was OK for a nuns room. pleasant shower room- big enough. a hair dryer that did not work
Great place to stay... Single rooms are small but still good, very clean and the staff are lovely.. breakfast was excellent too!
Loved the size of the room. The staff were very nice. The TV was good and beds were comfortable. Clean towels every day.
No wifi, or safe for keeping of passports. A little bit dusty. One window didn't open.
The twin room we stayed in was very clean and there was ensuite facilities.Very happy with this.
That I couldn't stay longer!
The room size was very decent and I was grateful I was charged a single occupancy in a double room. The hotel and rooms and fixtures were of a good standard and very clean. A very clean room!!
it was comfortable, pleasant,at a quiet area
it didnt have internet, no breakfast
The location was good, in the heart of Kemp Town
The room was very small
kettle in room with nescafe coffee. good tv
no internet.checking in time ridiculous so limited if travelling long distant after work. altho they did accommodate me when i phoned staff member was curt and lack understanding.road parking can be tricky but that is Brighton.
proximity to front
bizarre reception on arrival. Determined that I evidence I was who I say I am in She seemed set on suggesting I could be defrauding them. strange given I was actually giving them money. I have never actually had to show ID before. My official docs said Roderick, when I had emailed under Roddy- this caused problems too
Poor fixtures and fittings
It´s clean the room and near of the center. Estaba limpio y cerca del centro.
The owners of the hotel are rude, and you feel uncomfortable, like they have to be a favor to you, nothing to do polite english people, the fire alarm turn on and they aren´t there, big mistake. Hay hotels con precios parecidos pero con personal mucho más amiable, fueron un poco desagradable, limpio pero al no ser nadie collaborative se volvio incommode, para ser una casa de guespedes.
Perfect , very clean and tidy if get ironing facilities and internet wifi would be good
Steep stairs and noisy rooms
We had clean sheets twice in the week and clean towels everyday. Proprietress was friendly and helpful. About right for the price paid. Our front downstairs room was spacious for the two of us and the bed was a good 6 footer.
Little things were not good. The toilet roll holder was broken as was the basin plug. The taps on the shower were quite corroded and could have done with a really good clean.
The fact that it was close to everything that Brighton has to offer. Although on first appearance it seemed a little noisy, it was very quiet at night which was fantastic. Also liked the staff and facilities were great.
Shower curtains!!! Would be better with a glass enclosure. Would keep the floor drier too.
