Room decoration, friendly staff, excellent location, value for money
Friendly staff, nice homely decor in the room,it was very quiet at night .I had a really nice stay and would definately return. Excellent value for money .
It was all good, loved it there.
I was lucky enough to have a double room all to myself with good quality t.v and a shower and toilet. Also very close to beach. Lots of cupboards and wardrobe to put my clothes in and lovely and warm.
No where to park, but hotel owner advised where there was parking
The hotel was central and enabled us to walk to most of the key locations in Brighton
No breakfast offered, rooms a little small and staff a bit dismissive
Straight forward staff, no faffing
Cleanliness. Hotel room was filthy, hair everywhere, massive mould stain with growing mould on ceiling. Radiator leaking in room so floor was wet. Mould in shower. Curtains had holes and were so dirty. Didn't want to touch windows as they were dirty too. Tv had terrible reception.
Room to small , vary small bathroom
She was happy to extend the booking with out having to comit
Good location, both to shops and the Brighton run finish line.
It was a bit cold, could not get any heat out of the radiator.
Acceptable enough for one night at a fair price.
Filling the kettle from the sink. As only water for the kettle was from the sink in small room with toilet to the left sink right in front of the door and shower to the right. sink was so small kettle doesn't fit under the tap.
Good value. Being away from the centre of Brighton means it's nice and quiet. Would certainly consider again.
Was freezing all night, and discovered in the morning that this was because the radiator was turned off. To be fair, this is partly my fault... but if you're travelling in the colder months, try to learn from my mistake.
Good base to walk from.
Parking not easy.
Gave me a cost effective place to sleep for the night before an early start the next morning. Great location - walking distance to town centre or Kemptown. On-street parking is free after 8pm Tea and coffee provided in the room. Very clean and well presented.
Very small room - fine for me but others might be surprised. Be aware that there are no facilities for breakfast at this hotel - and there is no internet either, but that is covered in the details online and you are reminded at check-in.
Just all round great stay.
Clean tidy easy access in and at any time. Pleasant staff.
Tiny single room no option of breakfast no wifi
Was comfortable good location and would deffinatley stay here again.
Only thing no wifi and couldnot use mobile no signal
Fire alarm went off in the middle of the night for 5 mins
The room, although small, was very comfortable and had plenty of tea and coffee.
Sadly this hotel doesn't have wifi.
I've stayed here on seven occasions now. The staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean and tidy with coffee and tea facilities and working TV's and showers. This is a budget hotel but I couldn't wish for a more welcoming return visit. Many thanks.
Nothing bad to say.
Comfort of the room & size. No noises from other guests or outside. We would return despite the negatives, which are easily fixable & would assist future guests
Bedroom door needs a handle on the outside so you can pull it securely shut. We had to ensure that the door slammed which isn't good for other guests. Bathroom needs hooks or a decent sized towel rail so that both bath sheets can be hung to dry properly. We had to use coat hangers as the hand towel rail wasn't sufficient. Glasses (or plastic cups) in the bathroom to have a glass of water & to store your toothbrush would be helpful too.
Location very good, owners friendly and helpful.
Our room was right at the top, with loads of stairs. No parking near and need to pay £7.00 from 9am-8pm. Need to wake up and put more money on meter. NOT THE FAULT OF OWNERS.
location, value for money and the staff were friendly and helpful
There was nothing we didn't like
No fresh air in room as windows did not open! NO parking facilities for miles around.
The room was lovely and clean. Nice, en suite bathroom. The bed was comfy. The staff were friendly and helpful. The centre of town was a 5 minute walk, and cheap parking was nearby. I'd happily stay again, and probably will.
The paper-thin partition wall didn't afford much noise protection from the drunken girls in the room next door. But, this is to be expected with most hotels. The hotel was silent by 3 a.m.
