Staff, breakfast, location
made welcome efficient & pleasant staff comfortable room &surroundings welcome home e mail
there was nothing I disliked
Welcoming staff Comfortable room Clean facilities Tasty breakfast
Nice friendly staff, good location, room was nice and very clean, breakfast was nice.
The bed did not have a firm mattress so I found it very uncomfortable, the square was very noisy overnight and the room was hot with the window closed. Overall although it was a lovely place I would have slept better in the Premier Inn.
Beds, room, fan in room (it was a hot night so had a great sleep. Great central location
Fully satisfied with accommodation - good value for money and great location.
The breakfast was very good and the complimentary cake!
The bathroom in our triple room could do with an update
The whole place had an understated elegance about it which I loved. Staff were quietly efficient and welcoming and there were countless thoughtful touches that made Brighton House homely. I felt relaxed, safe and cared for during my stay - important as a single female traveller. It would definitely be my first choice of residence if I were to visit the area again. The location seemed ideal with the only disturbance being raucous seagulls!
Saying goodbye to Mr Watts (the resident cat!)...
A friendly and leisurely feel about the place, with really helpful smiley staff. Lovely breakfast choices and so much more character to the bedrooms than a hotel chain.
The stairs are a bit of a work out but this is, I understand, unavoidable in such an old place.
Large comfortable bed, very clean, good location, would stay again.
My husband wished there was a full english breakfast.
Friendly staff, very clean and quiet place. The location is central - close to the beach and about 10 mins from the rail station Very accommodating to special dietary requirements (vegan)
Comfortable and caring, and attention to all the little details that make the difference between good and special - a fan left in the room without having to request one when I left a window open; homemade cake for an evening snack; endless good coffee at breakfast; a smart selection of morning papers; two kinds of pillows on the bed. The pleasure was in the details.
Great place, beautiful location, friendly staff, Delicious breakfast (not a English breakfast) fresh fruit the hole day, Great decor in a beautiful old building and excellent wifi.
Noise from opposite park, breakfast a bit poor
Breakfast excellent, staff very helpful and obliging.
twin beds on lower ground floor with poor lighting but we knew it was a booking for twin beds and were advised of its position after we had booked.
Very comfortable bed. Fantastic location
Bathroom small and toilet badly scaled
Four poster bed,old style room
We really enjoyed our stay at Brighton House. The hotel is very well presented. The staff were very friendly, helpful & flexible. Will return again and recommend to others.
Good sized room with light decor. Large fan in the room
Beds quite hard
I am going to email, very impressed
The staff were very hospitable and friendly. Good room, with TV, if a bit small, on the top floor. Great location near the sea and centre of Brighton. Lovely buffet breakfast, including soft-boiled eggs! A nice touch was the home-made cake in the entrance hall, which people were welcome to help themselves to.Not forgetting the furry boss, Mr. Churchill (the cat!). I fully intend to return to Brighton House when I am next in Brighton.
Location, building, service, room size, cost cleanliness and overall experience excellent!
Basement room so a bit darker and no views of seafront
A peaceful and very convenient location, very clean & comfortable room, a lovely selection in the buffet breakfast, friendly & helpful staff. A really enjoyable stay.
Amazing organic breakfast was a real treat. Welcoming and accommodating staff helped with our bikes.
