1. Very friendly staff. 2. Great location. 3. Clean.
1. Very small shower cubicle. 2. Would be great to provide option for hot breakfast.
no phone in the room to call the reception. No elevator we had to climb the stairs with the luggage.
Seconds from the ocean but away from the traffic, the location is perfect for wandering east toward the pier and Lanes, or west along the less touristy portion of the waterfront. Staff are warm, cat's on the doorstep every morning, and the second cup of coffee appears quickly.
Central location. Hotel with character
Because no A/C in rooms kept window open overnight but kept awake by constant noises from the streets. Undersatnd hath this hotel is in a prime location near to amenities and Brighton is lively resort but without cooling in the rooms, the only way to keep cool on a warm night is to have the window open.
Hotel is nearby seaside, shopping center and various shops and restaurants, bus stopping, on a walking distance of a railway station and various sights. Staff wеrе very kind, helpful and positive. Breakfast was delicious and included organic food, too.
The view from the balcony which made the room and value for money. Room made to feel special by the balcony. Great selctions of teas and fruit basket. Help having wifi to look things places. The room was cosy and comfortable. Great stay.
The wall in the room are thin and you could here the guest next door and lick of paint to fresh the room up. Little minor things. Never spoiled our stay here.
i was staying for a wedding so just needed a base and this hotel provided that.
The Hotel was a beautiful Regency building and the rooms were very comfortable. Lovely buffet breakfast each morning with organic produce and home made natural yoghurt which was delicious. The staff were welcoming and always very helpful. I would certainly stay at Brighton House again. Karen (Hampshire)
There was nothing to dislike.
Easy walk wherever we wanted to go. Walking distance from train station. Very good breakfast and staff.

there was nothing I disliked
Welcoming staff Comfortable room Clean facilities Tasty breakfast
Nice friendly staff, good location, room was nice and very clean, breakfast was nice.
The bed did not have a firm mattress so I found it very uncomfortable, the square was very noisy overnight and the room was hot with the window closed. Overall although it was a lovely place I would have slept better in the Premier Inn.
Beds, room, fan in room (it was a hot night so had a great sleep. Great central location
Fully satisfied with accommodation - good value for money and great location.
The breakfast was very good and the complimentary cake!
The bathroom in our triple room could do with an update
The whole place had an understated elegance about it which I loved. Staff were quietly efficient and welcoming and there were countless thoughtful touches that made Brighton House homely. I felt relaxed, safe and cared for during my stay - important as a single female traveller. It would definitely be my first choice of residence if I were to visit the area again. The location seemed ideal with the only disturbance being raucous seagulls!
Saying goodbye to Mr Watts (the resident cat!)...
A friendly and leisurely feel about the place, with really helpful smiley staff. Lovely breakfast choices and so much more character to the bedrooms than a hotel chain.
The stairs are a bit of a work out but this is, I understand, unavoidable in such an old place.
Large comfortable bed, very clean, good location, would stay again.
My husband wished there was a full english breakfast.
Friendly staff, very clean and quiet place. The location is central - close to the beach and about 10 mins from the rail station Very accommodating to special dietary requirements (vegan)
Comfortable and caring, and attention to all the little details that make the difference between good and special - a fan left in the room without having to request one when I left a window open; homemade cake for an evening snack; endless good coffee at breakfast; a smart selection of morning papers; two kinds of pillows on the bed. The pleasure was in the details.
Great place, beautiful location, friendly staff, Delicious breakfast (not a English breakfast) fresh fruit the hole day, Great decor in a beautiful old building and excellent wifi.
Noise from opposite park, breakfast a bit poor
Breakfast excellent, staff very helpful and obliging.
twin beds on lower ground floor with poor lighting but we knew it was a booking for twin beds and were advised of its position after we had booked.
Very comfortable bed. Fantastic location
Bathroom small and toilet badly scaled
