Location. Organic and fair trade breakfast. Biscuits and apples in the room. The double room I had was small with no table or chair or wardrobe. |

The hotel was bright, warm and cosy. We had a trouble free, warm and friendly welcome and our room, which was situated on the fourth floor was clean and comfortable and well worth the climb. The breakfasts were amazing, plenty of freshly prepared organic food. The organic food wasn't the reason we chose the hotel, but it has changed my way of eating - delicious. 10/10 It's not the hotel's fault but we did have to pay and extra 12.50 a day to park. I feel that thid should have been made clearer in the information - but perhaps I didn't look carefully enough, as parking is tight every in Brighton apparently - but it added an extra £62.50 on the top of the stay - so next time I may not stay in a hotel so central. |

Fabulous Continental Breakfast. Very comfortable bed. Warm and cosy room (November). Good decor of room and communal areas. Staff attentive and promt. Very good location for bars/restaurants and shopping and, of course, the beach and pier. |

Overall quality of the hotel, relaxed atmostphere (you could come and go as you pleased) a fine organic continental breakfast and a great location for the centre of Brighton. |

The feel of a lovely townhouse The toilet did not flush very well and the bathroom did not have bath towels or shower gel on arrival. The chambermaid did not reallly prepare the room which made us feel that it had not been properly cleaned |

We liked the wide choice at buffet breakfast, clear labelling of many items on the buffet, and the broadly eco-friendly approach as outlined in the info booklet in our room. The quietly thoughtful service at breakfast was also appreciated. Perhaps the green credentials could have greater emphasis on the website. Although not a problem for us, we were a little surprised, in view of the recent refurbishment, that there was no electric razor point in the bathroom. |
