This striking Georgian property is on the seafront, overlooking Brighton beach. Modern rooms are just a 5-minute walk from Brighton Pier, shops, lively bars and popular restaurants.
Score from 789 reviews Good
Much traffic noise from the main seafront road.
You could here everyone from every room around you moving and banging around. Rooms were nice but could do with a fresh lick of paint
Right on the sea front, beautiful views
Staff very friendly and helpful especially Lucy
Good location very clean and comfortable
Having to wait quite some time at reception and bar as one man was doing it all and food alone not a good first impression. Having to park on the road quite some distance away.
The quality of the breakfast was quite bad Parking is quite expensive.
Great location. Personnel was helpful and we got very good service. Parking in front of the hotel. Our room was good value for money (special promotion).
The cold water was warm, not cold
I liked how close it was to town
Tried to charge an exorbitant price to extend stay. Not much on room service. No Late bar
liked the clubs bars restaurants close by
Everybody was very helpful, nice breakfast, good value for money
very friendly staff nice food would stay again
Portable bed was not comfortable but staff explained they will be getting better ones. They were really nice.
Staff welcomed us and gave us everything we needed. Would go back definitely.
Bathroom could use modernizing, shower was broken
Location and staff were friendly and helpful. Bar was nice but bathroom was small, out of date and very budget
The size of the room up in the roof ! It was tiny ! The bathroom was the smallest I have ever used. It should have been a single room not a double .. no room to move ..
Its convenience to family
However requested breakfast to go. Received one dry wheatabix biscuit, one croissant and a cup of coffee. Now I am not sure how they expected us to eat the wheatabix ( no milk provided or cup/ container) to eat out of. We did pay for our full breakfast did not expect a full breakfast but at least a cheese sandwich would have been better than a dry wheatabix.
The staff were very help and accomodating
Staff really helpful. Bed was great!
Small room (budget), pretty poor and boring breakfast buffet. Some fresh fruit and veg would be nice and some cold cuts. Mushrooms and tomato was drenched in oil which felt unnecessary, instant coffee instead of real. Eggs were nice so no big deal but these little things makes it feel a bit cheap. Also bought a small pot of herbal tea in the bar for £4 which felt a bit expensive given we were guests.
Location, friendly staff, great service, good value for money and breakfast until 11 which you can have in bed if pre-ordered.
The scrambled eggs come in a bottle - not fresh! How difficult is it to serve fresh eggs? Noisy guests at 1 in the morning woke me - the walls and floors are very creaky and I could hear the bath being run at 1 am
the bed was comfortable enough
Sea view rooms have a great view!
Shower was no good kept hitting my head plus kept flooding plus not happy booked room for three and one of the party had a hart affack and would not give me a refund so was disapointed
Good room size
the bed was really un-comfy with springs attacking you whilst you slept breakfast was luke warm and on the second day very greasy the whole place was tired and dingy
Great room, perfect for a one night stay. We liked it a lot and recommend this property!
The rooms were very cold. It was really windy the night we were there and the room never seemed to warm up.
The hotel was close to the beach and restaurants. It was a nice walk to the cities sites.
Cramped room, wonky floor
