Booked the night before, room small, somewhat tired but clean. Staff very smiley and helpful. Good value for money, just quality of room that might mean no return. Great location.
Although room clean needs refurb.
very small poor room with severely sloping floor, very small double bed and window would only open 4inches. The shower room was also very small and it was impossible to sit comfortably on the toilet as it was positioned hard up against the wall. The small sink was immediately below a glass shelf which made it near impossible to clean teeth without hitting your head.the lift was very slow and small.car park was a joke as any large car blocked exit and entry to any other vehicle.
The staff were helpful and very friendly, the breakfast was very good, with a good service from the staff, the room was clean and tidy. Just to sleep and shower was fine which is all we wanted!
The room was on a bit of a slope, and a bit dark,we also found the bed not very comfortable. Also could here floor/ceiling really creaking from the people staying above our room. We were told it was a 15 minute walk to pier, but would say much longer unless you were power walking!
We enjoyed our stay very much and had the best nights sleep we have ever had in any hotel.
Price. Reasonable location. Breakfast was good.
Lack of parking for vehicle.small room.unclean carpets.
Front of sea Localisation
It was convenient to the venue of the conference I was attending.
The room was small; rarely do you find single beds in an hotel room. The noise of traffic was continuous throughout the night. The electric shower sounded as if it was a jet engine.
Staff were very helpful and chatty, the hotel was in a very good position. Breakfast was very good.
Room very small, lift outside room was out of order and door was opening and shutting all night, this along with the fact that our bedroom window overlooked the kitchen and all we heard all night was the extractor fans and the rubbish, bottles etc being emptied. Would not stay here again as didn't get a wink of sleep.
only continental breakfast can be baught up to the room
Nice friendly staff, good breakfast, clean room.
very dated decor, stains on ceiling and walls in rooms, needs a coat of paint, tiny little en-suite but its only three star so didnt expect it to be great.
Bathroom very poor standard ok if you were 2feet tall
Dirty carpet, both window and bathroom door wouldn't close. A great deal of noise outside (not helped by window not closing!)
Could hear other people in there rooms. not much sleep ?
Position and able to park our scooters off the road Many thanks
had everything I need it! Would stay there again
The price :(
Helpful staff and very comfortable accommodation.
The rooms were not cleaned until late afternoon which was inconvenient as by this time we were returning to the room after being out all day. Parking was expensive and the space we were given was very difficult to manoeuvre in and out of.
Room needs work ie old
The hotel was just as expected, good value for money. At a nice location, only a short walk from the shops, pier and other attractions. Comfortable rooms with a nice bathroom.
There were just a few details, the main reason would be a fire alarm that went off at 8am, which only lasted for a minute or two, and so if it was a fire alarm test, we were not informed it would take place. Next, the reason why I have put staff as poor, is because check out time was at 11am. As a young couple (who enjoy sleep) and as a couple who had just been woken up by a pointless fire alarm we were trying to sleep for as long as possible, and so we did not appreciate the cleaner knocking, and poking her head round the door at around half 10, and knocking again at quarter to.
We really liked the size of the room and the view to the seaside. The service was good as we had the chance to book a breakfast until the next morning.
The Breakfast was nice but we missed some fresh fruit and a selection of savoury stuff.
no parking in brighton
Showers very good & clean, no mil due, bed linen very clean, no marks on pillows, as they had pillow protectors on.
I think guests, should be informed when the fire alarm tests are being carried out?. Chairs in rest areas are heavy to move!,pushed right up to coffee tables, just small things, that's all. Not sure of type of music at breakfast!!!.
Price had issues with wi-fi
Cheap price for the basement room (got it through the deal tho). Location Staff
The basement room was pretty cheap and small. Abit dusty as well. The room was like the ones you get at some £20 a night bed hostels. More care should be given to these rooms.
The neighbors noise at the basement during the early hours of the morning, distracting you from enjoying your comfort.
