Very friendly welcome , great location , and although our room was a small double it had a shower and was impeccably clean , a great breakfast with plenty of choice :)
The cost of parking
Friendly, helpful proprietors. Excellent breakfast, clean and comfortable room. Good location, 1 min from promenade and only a 10 min walk to town centre.
I was greeted by Richard who was very friendly and made you feel welcome. The place had a nice feel to it and at breakfast the following morning the service was first class. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was lovely and clean and the bed was really comforable.
There was nothing to complain about.
Brightonwave is a lovely place to stay for it's comfort and convenience; it's minutes from the pier and The Lanes and excellent places to eat surround it. The whole house is spotlessly clean and comfortable, they're very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are spacious and beds very comfortable, we all slept really well. Parking wasn't a problem either as I parked just up the road which was preferable to the car park a few roads down. My mum, sister and I all enjoyed our break and we will definitely stay again.
Everything you can expect, nothing missing. Very friendly staff.
Some noise from the street when room windows are open at night.
Richard and Simon are excellent hosts, they make you feel welcome from the moment you walk though the door. The rooms are well furnished and cleaned to a high standard daily and the breakfasts are fantastic - choices include full grilled English, pancakes with fruit, herbed tomatoes on toast - i'm only sorry I wasn't there long enough to try them all. Both Richard and Simon have a thorough knowledge of the area and where able to offer recommendations for food and entertainment.
The lovely extra touches in th room, like chocolates, water, access to fresh milk, fruit, biscuits etc
Bit of street noise from early morning
The large bed with a good hard mattress.
The noise in the streets kept my partner awake.
Very clean and very quite
Breakfarst was served a little bit too late for people doing buseness
The room, the location, the breakfast, oh the breakfast! Blueberry pancakes and fresh fruit... Lovely hosts, very welcoming. Very high standard accommodation
The dirty streets. Brighton council need to clean them more often, or issue poop scoopers to dog owners! Sad to see so many rough sleepers too
Warm welcome, quiet room, very comfortable and breakfast cooked to perfection. Will certainly visit again.
There was nothing to dislike.
This hotel was five minutes from the city centre (and two minutes from the seafront) The staff were extremely friendly and the rooms were spacious, really clean and very comfortable. I really do recommend this lovely little independent hotel to anyone travelling down to Brighton for the weekend. Perfect for solo travellers and couples.
Pretty much all of it. Location is superb! Basically next to the pier with a 5 minute stroll to be on it! Very comfy bed. Nicely decorated. Hearty breakfast.
Pretty much nothing. If I must be critical....the room is compact, the shower room is very compact....and I mean very compact for 6'3" guy!
1-No air conditioner 2-Wi-Fi very slow
Everything! The guys running the hotel, couldn't do enough for you - they looked after us so well, from gorgeous breakfast, to ice buckets (for the wine), fun size chocolate treats, DVD's, etc, etc. Brilliant location and lovely rooms (very clean) and everything you need!
I couldn't fault it!
Good location and good value for money.
Parking is a so difficult to secure.
Staff friendliness, attention to detail, excellent food.
-Great hosts- nothing is too much trouble; v friendly & chatty -Fantastic healthy, tasty breakfasts -Beautifully clean & well decorated -Biscuits, fruit, water, milk, tea etc available for all guests in the sitting room as are DVDs and books. -Best of locations- 2 mins from No 7 bus from/to station -Great value -Lone female travellers feel safe & secure here
My room was great for me on my own but if I was travelling with my partner (who is tall and broad) would be a very tight squash. It's a bijou, compact space but fine for me.
Our room was at top a bit tiring climbing stairs
All was fine
From the fresh fruit to the breakfast.. From the kindness and thoughtfulness.. The position obviously but its the attention to detail that we noticed.. Nothing was too much trouble. I just can't see how Richard and Simon could improve on anything.. Certainly not the value for money …..
Nice room with comfortable bed and great attention to detail. Friendly and helpful owners and in a great part of town.
Great location, facilities and staff. Would stay there again.
Nothing, all good.
good location ,lovely food ,large comfortable room every thing in it you needed including treats ,Richard and Simon were very nice
We stayed at the weekend and we did not know there were public houses quite close so it was quite noisy therefore not much sleep
