Very nice bar and function room, food was good, staff very helpful.

Room (115) was very small, bathroom and toilet much too small, could hardly fit on the loo as it was positioned tight between the bath and the wall. Hotel was too warm for my liking. No shelter outside on the terrace for smokers - fully open to the wind & rain, lots of people complaining about this.

Lovely location. Food good value,well presented. Waiting staff very pleasant and efficient. Reception staff welcoming.

THE ROOM. 116 Very small. Window had frosted glass which means you are unable to see out (unless you stand on the window sill, which is not an option at our agenda.) No bulb in light above the wash hand basin. Shower fitting broken, did not feel like holding it to have a shower. Bath very high to climb in and out of. Hairdryer something of an antique and fitting rather strange. Bath needs a really good clean. Would suggest all of the above could be fixed and room kept as a single. Money has obviously been spent on public areas, which are quite attractive but ROOM 116 needs a lot of talc. If visiting Large would recommend staying elsewhere

The upgrade was appreciated and a good menu choice with friendly staff.

Did not see a lift (BAD LEG) carpet in the room a bit grubby expensive beer.

Reception staff were polite and friendly.

Bar staff were unattentive and perhaps a bit miserable!

The rooms were lovely and the bed was massive and jacuzzi bath was lovely

Good location, friendly staff, good selection of meal options and decent menu at a reasonable price.

poor water pressure (room 204) however this could have been a fault in the plumbing, if not this needs looking at. A lift would be handy for older customers as carrying a full suitcase up the stairs is a bit of a challenge for the elderly.

Excellent staff. Good loby, good breakfast, great sea view and location.

Guest room was a little run down. Floor creeked, mold on ceiling. Not too comfortable.

Staff brilliant, Amanda and Marianne to name but a few, all great, Picked the venue for a wedding, which was fab, the room dressed perfectly and timing good. Staff on hand all the way through. Wedding meal perfect as was all the food in the hotel. All of us who stayed where impressed by the friendliness and cleanliness of hotel

Only fault was some rooms slightly worn and furniture marked. We also had a large stain on ceiling in room and bathroom, but some of the other rooms were fab.

The friendliness of staff and their willingness to help. The hotel was comfortable and provide a haven for a few days of rest.

The fact I couldn't pay cash for my meal in the Resturant .

We liked the appearance of the hotel from the road. Spacious car park. We liked the fact that we were upgraded when we arrived to a luxury room. Staff were very friendly.

My only negative of my stay is i booked a double room but it was two single beds pushed together.

The convenience and views

The staff were really friendly and attentive. Everything about our stay was great. The Brisbane is both modern and homely. The location is wonderfull with fab views, shopping and nightlife. I could not fault a single thing.
