Great hosts and breakfast

Blinds meant it was very light in the room at from about 6am.

the heater is not working well

It was a 8' walking through the train station. Graham was a polite and friendly landrord. It's 2' walking to town and 20' walking the nearest lake.

It was a little bit cold at night because the heating was off. The bedroom was smaller than the pictures shows plus that breakfast is STRICTLY at 9 in the morning (except if you want earlier upon request) that makes you wake up just to eat your paid breakfast.

We liked the relaxed atmosphere,the friendly owners and the nearness of the centres and the lake.nice rooms,clean and warm.just right for my husband who is disabled.Full marks indeed to this couple.

We had a wonderful stay. Comfy, cosy, fantastic location in walking distance to the lake and local shops and restaurants. Lovely owners so friendly and happy to help and the breakfast was delicious :D

Everything...we had no complaints only compliments. Room was warm and comfy. Ensuite clean. Feel a chair would be good in the bedroom and maybe a glass for our toothbrushes. Breakfast was great.

It was very homely and relaxing. We really enjoyed our stay, the rooms are very clean and comfy with all the things you need. The owners are very nice and really helpful and breakfast was lovely.

Friendly family run hotel.

A quiet location within easy reach of the local amenities. The proprieters were more than happy to help with any request/question. There was a good breakfast selection that kept a vegan and a fussy vegiterian happy. Would be happy to recommend this hotel

Would have liked curtians at the window as opposed to the blinds.

The mattress was very soft meaning my wife couldn't sleep

Room was lovely, shower was great, breakfast was yum, staff were very hospitable, location was perfect!

Relaxed and friendly guest house, which is near to the town centre and a short drive from Bowness. Room plenty large enough with en-suite. Breakfasts can be chosen from a wide range of various cereals and cooked meals. Owners were very friendly and helpful.

Nice family and nice house. Enjoyed very much during the stay. Also Windermere was great!

We had a very pleasant stay. The owner and his family were very helpful and gave us very good tips for walks. Excellent breakfast, and very near to the city center

Just an observation: they have a cat or two, so they are around the premisis.. if you are allergic or afraid, have this into consideration.

Keuze te over qua ontbijt: Engels, continentaal, ook voor vegetariërs en veganisten. Alles met veel zorg geserveerd.

De beheerder die precies wist wanneer hij wel/geen contact met je moest maken en goede informatie over trips in de omgeving gaf, de bedden, b en b als geheel zag er keurig en verzorgd uit, de gunstige ligging net buiten het centrum van Windermere

Eigenlijk niets, alleen de kamer was wat aan de krappe kant.

Graham and janet were so friendly and gave us the best breakfasts. The rooms were so clean amd the complimentary refreshments in the room were fantastic, iron shower gel etc, everythin was thought of.
