THe hotel was beautiful, the staff were very friendly. In a great spot close to everything!
Location, price, swimming pool, room style decor, temperature control, great variety of foods offered at breakfast, helpful room service, early check in, no pressure to depart early, friendly staff
Noise of pool pump, did not get requested room with a view, cold bacon for breakfast, street noise during the night, thought it would include internet access,(only for short time, )no fridge in room,
The staff were excellent, as was the breakfast!
Noise at nighttime, but can't expect that much considering it's excellent location to the centre of town
Staff were really friendly & helpful.
Stain on curtains in bedroom, nail varnish on the bath and shower curtain filthy.
Very comfortable, good location, delicious breakfast.
We ordered food from room service (pizza and a burger) and it was very low quality. When we complained at check-out, the receptionist agreed to take the food off the bill. I would recommend not using room service if you stay at this hotel.
Great location, pleasant staff and nice room and good on site parking
For the amount we paid (£119) the bathroom facilities could have been better. The curtains were hanging off the hooks in the corner and tiles needed to be more clean and fresh
Room, facilities, staff
very comfortable bed, quiet room, excellent location
disappointed in the parking costs. It is £14.00 a night. I parked at the West End multi-storey for the whole weekend, and it was £9. Surely your guests should be given preferential rates. We arrived at around 11pm and it was a very limited room service only. A small one person pizza was £14.00. It was substandard was disappointed
Check in was easy, room was comfortable and was perfect for the Bristol hippodrome
Location was perfect The rest was fantastic
Somewhat understaffed on reception
The spaciousness of the room and bathroom. The extras like : robe and ironing board.
The pricy cost of Wi Fi This day and age Wi Fi should be pretty much free in the rooms - as in other parts of the world.
Staff were attentive and considerate, breakfast was especially good.
Location of the hotel was really good
The crack in the bath , the empty coke can in the bin when we arrived, the red stains on the chair , the red stain on the floor of our room, and the dirty napkin at breakfast folded with squashed yogurt in the middle of it, the fact as we relaxing in the lounge area they blocked us in with chairs and rope to stop anyone else coming is to sit by the fire even though it was only 11.0clock at night and we were sat talking and drinking.!!!!!!!!
Would def stay in same hotel again. Location right in centre, size or room and bathroom was great, breakfast great choices and quality and nice airy dining room, tea and coffee in room, all amenities provided. Convenient Parking below hotel. Left bags in hotel while went sightseeing. Hotel has lots of character and grandeur. Tho here and there it could do with a little modernisation. We had a great stay, I would even stay in same slightly noisy room if no others available.
Bed not that comfy sadly, stayed in room 1328 facing main road. High up but still background noise from drunk students, early lorry deliveries etc but ok to sleep through. Air con units for building all seemed to be at our end of building and there was a low hum through wall all night, but not too bad. Would have liked a vege sausage option for a protein source at breakfast as I do not eat eggs.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The location was just right for shopping and the car park was very convenient and not too expensive in view of the amount of time you were allowed to park there. The breakfast was wonderful.
Only one thing. The bath was a little bit dated and flimsy in an otherwise lovely room.
Attentive staff Breakfast Menu Fit and Finish of the room Location
Fair value for money for a city centre hotel. Friendly and helpful staff. Spacious room appropriately equipped for this standard of hotel. Would stay there again.
The staff were not as friendly as you'd expect for this type of hotel!
Very comfortable room, super bed. We were in the west country for a family lunch, so later we had a light supper in the bar, just what we wanted. Lovely swimming pool, steam room and sauna. Breakfast second to none!
Nothing not to like!
Perfect central location, comfortable, nice breakfast, good coffee.
The location of the hotel was fantastic, right next to the shops and restaurants on the waterside and only a 10 mins walk to the city centre shops. The room was great, 2 large double beds, very comfy. Hotel had functions on both Friday and Saturday but it was still quiet and we were able to use the pool and jacuzzi. Will stay again.
Great Hotel, we have stayed before, a bit on the pricey side, but great location, very quiet and comfortable. attentive staff.
We went out for the day on Saturday, got back very tired at @ 7.00pm. Every restaurant we passed was packed, so we thought we would give the hotel a try. Service was good, but the food....oh the food. Mussels were bland, Duck inedible, Steak was over cooked, dry and completely devoid of taste and texture. The French waiter was great, clearly experienced, so why oh why take food from a kitchen on cold plates... schoolboy error. £17.50 reduction was in honesty a joke. We were told on departure that the restaurant was not part of the hotel, well we wont return BECAUSE of the restaurant. Marriott please get this sorted, its empty for a reason!
very noisy, poor premium internet
