Friendly staff and a bidet!!

Could not get vehicle into car park!

They were not very attentive when we asked for a couple of wine glasses be sent to the room

the bed was well worn and if it were in my house would be thrown out.not mixer taps in bathroom ,very dated.Slow at breakfast service

very comfortable large beds, generous room. Nice swimming pool. Comfortable restaurant, plenty of room, no feeling of being rushed. Attentive staff. No rush for breakfast. Changed room type on arrival without any problem - helpful staff.

Room was noisy - very poor "extras" only shower gel - no shower cap (had to ask at reception) - no free wi-fi (would expect that at the prices paid) - not good value

Location was perfect for easy access to theatres, shopping and sightseeing. Staff were very friendly, polite and helpful. The building was classic with a lovely modern twist. Rooms were very comfortable, light and airy. Looking forward to staying here again on my next trip to Bristol.

The leisure /spa walk areas were very wet and slippy and even though nonslip walk mats were down the floors could have been mopped more frequently to take up excess water. More nonslip walk mats around the general area would also help as I was very conscious of slipping.

Comfortable room, quiet, cleanliness, staff, breakfast, general atmosphere.

Entrance congested with taxis meaning we could not park to unload, dining room dark and uncomfortable. We decided to eat out rather than use the restaurant

Staff always spoke with polite friendliness. Room spacious and very comfortable. Pool and steam room very relaxing. We booked early for our Bristol event and hotel offered very good deal for 4 days. Central position next to Cathedral and close to Tourist Information Centre.

We checked beforehand the cost of car parking at hotel, and throughout Bristol. Hotel was difficult to reach despite map due to central position in pedestrian-friendly area, so directions would assist.

Clean, very comfortable and well equipped throughout. Very efficient and polite staff in all areas of the hotel. Excellent breakfast with good quality food and wide choice.

Would have liked to open bedroom window but it was locked.

Facilities Location Restaurant. The restaurant staff were excellent, particularly the man who served us. He was very helpful and knowledgeable and it was due to him that we had dinner at the hotel on both nights

The first room allocated to us had a large damp patch on the floor. We were allocated a new room when I complained about this Our room was not serviced (we stayed for 2 nights) When I asked for it to be serviced a member of staff came to our room 3 times and each time had to go and get something. She would disappear for 5 to 10 minutes and then come back. This was very disruptive when we had been out all day and wanted to relax for a while before dinner. She said she would come back a fourth time to bring some shampoo etc but never returned

Attentive and friendly staff. Car park very convenient and reasonable cost. Breakfast excellent and afternoon tea was amazing.

Not quite sure about new restaurant - people were queueing for breakfast ( glad I wasn't!) & ambience has beeen lost. However menu looked pleasant for lunch etc so might try next time.
