Our unit was large, modern and very comfortable. Cabot Circus shopping centre was a 10 minute walk away, however the walk was through a very dodgy area - wouldn't have wanted to walk there after dark.
Location - very close to Drop In Centre, Salvation Army emergency housing, high density public housing. Lots of graffiti and closed pubs/shops etc. Internet cropped out often and on first night dropped out completely.
The apartment we stayed in was perfect, at first we were apprehensive because of the area, but we were very impressed of how quiet it was even being on the main road. It was like a home from home apartment perfect size for 2 staying. Recommended to family of family who live in Bristol.
There was nothing to dislike in our opinion..
The flat was spacious and bright. Well located with only a short walk from the city centre. Interesting area with a range of good 2nd hand shops. good range of kitchen equipment. We all agreed beds were fantastic and bets nights sleep in ages.
Couldn't work out how to change the central heating controls - our late mornings and evenings didn't match what seemed to be work schedule pre set hours. Some of the cleaning was a bit hit and miss. Showers didn't have good water flow generally and the temperature was not well controlled - freezing cold to boiling hot in 5 seconds
The accommodation was amazing and great value for money. The apartments are well catered for and include all essentials. Clean and tidy. As described - no disappointments! No complaints what so ever!
The area isn't the greatest part of Bristol however the area is securely gated with limited access from passers by. To get to the city centre we hopped in a taxi (which the reception staff gladly provided the tel details) and we were in the city centre in minutes at a small cost (£7) so in tin our case the 'location' wasn't an issue at all so not really a negative!
Clean, modern flat, reasonable facilities in flat
No Gym, somewhat dubious area
Arrived and was greeted by reception. Secure parking. Lovely apartments! Was very impressed at what we had especially for our money. We all had a fantastic comfortable stay.
Rooms, floors, layout, space, TV, decor, furniture. The rooms were a good size and very clean and comfortable thoughout.
For what was described as a luxury flat, there was a lack of some kitchen equipment: no teapot, cafetiere, or washing up bowl. Some noise from street late at night. Car parking was an extra £8 a night and should have been included as street parking was not easy.
Everything was good and so made it a relaxing stay. Facing the inner courtyard away from the main road allowed better peace and quiet.
There was no where to hang a towel wet or otherwise.
Fantastic value and comfort. Loads of room for and very well appointed. You will be hard pressed to find accommodation that beat this.
Great soundproofing between the rooms - we didn't hear the girls next door untll we left our room and realised that a little pre-rave party was going on! Everyone was friendly and helpful and it was a nice little walk into town.
The room was a bit hot, but no worse than hotels ever are.
Loved the apartment, staff very helpful, clean, well equiped, good value for money. Parking in gated courtyard was worth paying for. Taxis in and out cost £7 which was good.
The area is close to a bad area but we did not go down that way.
Beautifully furnished flat at reasonable price with friendly staff. Close to amenities really enjoyed out stat wish we could have afforded longer stay x
Only thing I would say is need bit more kitchen accessories like salad bowl or casserole dish etc
The Managers were very pleasant and helpfull, nothing was too much trouble
The apartments were clean, spacious and well looked after. Staff were friendly, Off street, secure parking with a key fob entry
Terrible mattresses - they felt really cheap as the springs poked through. Unsafe area at night (would not risk going out in evening/night), noisy groups would hang around outside window and across the street in the kebab shop on a busy street. Felt like the Bristol equivalent of Brixton No attractions in walking distance of apartments
The house felt comfortable and relaxing, with everything that you would need as if it was your own home (including cooker, pots & pans, iron, hair dryer, washing machine and dryer). The layout was very nice and we didn't need anything other than our food supplies.
We would have liked to have hand towels and mop & bucket. Everything else was catered for
Olga was fantastic (we got lost and she spent a lot of time giving me directions) and the apartment itself was very well equipped and excellent.
Noisy (despite asking for a quiet room). The apartment overlooks a busy strip and people hang out until quite late into the night
Being awake by the seagulls all night long :(
very private place and suitable for group of friend or family Will be there again if i go to Bristol
The apartments were very spacious and had all the amenities which was great
Nothing was at fault with the apartments but would re think the taxi services that you display on your desk as they rude and didn't know some locations which made us late
Flat was spacious and clean. It was pleasantly decorated and well equipped.
You have to pay extra for the parking and there is no choice as there is nowhere else to park. Also the flats are next to a community centre and it was very noisy at night.
Good size and very clean
Kitchen utensils not up to expectations, area full of drunken asylum seekers.
Clean, modern, fresh and secure
People active in street very late. Hot water seemed to be an issue.
Comfortable, fine, no worries
fast and easy check-in at a time that suited us. staff very accommodating. great facilities within the apartment
leaving to come home
The apartment provided most things you would want in a “home away from home”. In addition, it was comfortable and spacious. It is close to Cabot Circus and the city. The service provided by Bristol Lettings Service was great. We received a couple of emails prior to our arrival confirming our reservation and also enquiring about the time we expected to arrive; as we were arriving outside of their usual office hours, we were provided with a telephone number to call just prior to our arrival. We were met by the manager / owner who ensured that we were orientated to the apartment and the area; he provided us with a map of the city, a contact number for the Letting Service and the number of a local taxi service. He came across as being genuinely interested in helping us navigate our way in and around Bristol, as we were from out of town.
Surprisingly... I can't think of anything without nitpicking!
