Location Price Friendly efficient staff
Long queue at reception
warm bathroom breakfast
cold bedroom radiators not working noisy cold water taps
Filthy windows, 1930 decor & chipped furniture. Uncomfy bed. View of air vent & dirty underpants disgusting! Badly designed bathroom, no electric shower & wobbly taps! Staff didn't even talk when checking out, rude & obnoxious!
Excellent position for the town and train station, very quiet at night, no noise along the corridor or slamming of doors! Staff very helpful and polite busy when we checked in but they worked as quickly as they could. Room was basic, clean and tidy and great just for one night!
the location was good and it was a nice hotel
it was set in its old ways good of done with a bit of modernising. breakfast wasn't that brilliant either
The bed linen was lovely fresh and clean the bathroom floor and the corners of the floor very dirty not cleaned behind the door and dirt gowing up the corner of floor behind the toilet teach your cleaners how to clean properly carpet had not been vacumed
Bedding and towels clean. Excellent breakfast, variety and well cooked.
Waited 30 minutes in queue to check in, not given any info about the hotel, breakfast times etc. sharp edged broken toilet roll holder, noisy extractor, stained carpets in room, and on furniture surfaces.
Ideal location. Only stayed 2 nights so didn't get the time to use the excellent pool and sauna.
Would have liked more choice on the breakfast menu.
Hotel was lovely and all staff were very welcoming. Throughout my stay I felt very comfortable and safe which is important.
The cleanliness of the room, although it looked immaculate i found dust and hair along the tables and underneath the bed when placing my bags out of the way, that was the only flaw about my stay.
Great location for all the city centre attractions , Quick easy check in with big car park at rear Would defo stay here again Bar reasonable prices
Room had mould in ceiling that could of been cleaned windows were old n stiff to open Was dust under radiator and bed also bit of rubbish under bed Rooms could do with a revamp
Amazing location, option to securely store luggage after checking out.
No main light in the room.. just lamps, one of the,two didnt work. Insufficient lighting if you wish to do make up ect.
I enjoyed the Edwardian decor of the hotel, my room was lovely with high ceilings and large windows. The bathroom was elegant and convenient, the bed warm and comfy and I was able to open my window for the fresh air I need to sleep. Really enjoyed my stay.
The breakfast was good but the room it was served in was a bit small for the amount of people using it.
The furniture The dated feel The pool wasn't in operation
Location Staff behaviour Reasonable price Spacious rooms
Parking was expesive, hotel shoul offer free parking for hotel customers.
Elegant lounge and reception rooms and friendly staff
No hair dryer in room, telephone in room not working.
The Bathroom was a disgrace It obviously had not been clear it had s**t all round it I slept on top of the bed as I had no confidence sheets would have been changed!
Value for money
Bit dated but lovely building
Split bed !!!! Car parking is far
I liked the fact that I was returning to my home city for a short break and had chosen The Adelphi.
The Adelphi is no longer a great hotel with a great reputation. It needs a major refurbishment. Very sad to see it in its present sad. Our return to Liverpool was ruined.
